PASTORAL CARE FOR THE SICK Please notify the Parish Center when a family member is ill, whether in the hospital or at home. Holy Communion will be brought regularly by appointment to those confined to the home. The sick or chronically ill should receive the Sacrament of Anointing. Attention Children's Choir We are preparing to sing at the 4:00 pm Christmas Eve Mass All children who are interested in singing are encouraged to come after the 10:30 Masses on: Sunday 11/26, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17 Music will be provided. We will have a special Thanksgiving Mass at 9:15 am on Thursday, November 23, Thanksgiving Day. Bread will be blessed and distributed at this Mass. We are grateful to Barbara Latona who provides the bread in loving memory of her husband, Joseph, and her son, Justin. Please join us for a complimentary continental breakfast immediately following the 9:15 am Mass on Thanksgiving morning in the School Cafeteria. The breakfast is sponsored by the Tolomeo family in memory of Dr. Eugene and Mrs. Annette Tolomeo. CARDINAL VISIT Over the past couple of months, Cardinal Tobin has been visiting the various Deaneries in the Archdiocese as a way of meeting the faithful and hearing their ideas and concerns. Cardinal Tobin will visit the parishes of our Deanery and celebrate Mass on Wednesday, November 29 th at 7:30 pm. The Mass will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Oakland. Following the Mass, there will be a Town Hall and reception in Connors Hall. All are invited to attend. Thank you for your continued support and generosity to our church! We celebrated Veterans Day Prayer Circles on Thursday, November 10 with the following distinguished veteran guests relatives, parishioners, neighbors, friends: Richard Guglielmino, Jason Kroptavich, Daniel Long, Joe McAuliffe, Chris Russo, Gregory Scime and Frank Sciortino We sang songs, learned about the different branches of the armed services, and prayed and offered appreciation for our veterans. Thank you for visiting with us! A blessed and happy Thanksgiving to our parish family from AMBS!!! We are so grateful for all God s blessings!!! We will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, November 22 at 12:15 pm. We will be closed for the holiday weekend. Enjoy the celebration with family and friends!
