PASTORAL CARE FOR THE SICK Please notify the Parish Center when a family member is ill, whether in the hospital or at home. Holy Communion will be brought regularly by appointment to those confined to the home. The sick or chronically ill should receive the Sacrament of Anointing. Matthew 25:35 CARDINAL VISIT Over the past couple of months, Cardinal Tobin has been visiting the various Deaneries in the Archdiocese as a way of meeting the faithful and hearing their ideas and concerns. Cardinal Tobin will visit the parishes of our Deanery and celebrate Mass on Wednesday, November 29 th at 7:30 pm. The Mass will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Oakland. Following the Mass, there will be a Town Hall and reception in Connors Hall. All are invited to attend. Coat Drive The Associates of the Sisters of St. Joseph along with the MBS confirmation candidates will be conducting a coat drive the weekend of December 9-10 to help our dear neighbors in need this Christmas Season. All coats should be clean and in useable condition and may be brought to all of weekend masses, or left on the Parish Center porch. Thank you for helping to live out the Gospel! Eucharistic Adoration at MBS Come to Me. MBS has Adoration every Saturday from 9:30 am until 4:00 pm. Although we invite you to drop in whenever you can, we really need adorers to sign up and commit to a specific hour each Saturday. 4 Page Four November 26, 2017 AMBS is a 2016 National Blue Ribbon School!!! Please join us for First Friday Mass this Friday at 9:15 am! We will have a 12:15 pm dismissal on Friday, December 1. No aftercare this day. Please plan on joining us on Monday evening, December 4 at 5:00 pm for our Fourth Annual Advent Celebration! We will have Prayer Circles, music, the lighting of the AMBS Christmas Tree, and refreshments. Please support our school s annual raffle sponsored by our Home Academy Partnership (HAP) organization. This year we are having a Super 50/50, with only 1800 tickets to be sold and the potential for one winner to receive $90,000! Your support is greatly appreciated and you may be the lucky winner! Tickets are $100 each and available at the school or after certain Masses. The drawing of the winner will occur on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 so these tickets make excellent Christmas presents!!
