2 Monday, Oct. 15 8:00 a.m.: No Mass Dear People of God, This month we celebrate in many ways our Parish s history and future. As we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, we ask for the prayers of our Blessed Mother and ask for victory in following the will of God. We live in a beautiful place that has been given as gift to us by our Lord and Savior, but the earth is filled with many distractions from the plan that God has for you and me!!! This feast challenges us to to make an effort to be the best parish to fullfill God s plan in this place and time!!! One way for us to do this is by realizing our need for help from someone bigger then us. Mary leads us and guides us to Jesus Christ who can fullfill our every need and fill our hearts with Joy!!! During this month of the Rosary and beyond, we must all make an effort to follow in the footsteps of Mary by always gazing at Jesus in the silence of every experience everyday. Pray the rosary, read scripture, or just walk with Jesus on a beautiful afternoon!!! May we, like Mary, ponder all the mysteries of God and our relationship with Him every time we get the chance. Students ride on the float and our Cheer Leaders & Spirit Squad walk behind the float cheering along the way. Preventing child sexual abuse is the goal of the Archdiocesan Safe Environment Office. Virtus is the program selected by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston to for children. The 3-hour live session includes videos and facilitated discussions that focus on the prevention of abuse and the protection of children. Adults learn how to recognize the warning signs of sexual abuse and to respond appropriately.
