2 Dear People of God, As we come to the end of the Church year we always is for us...will we let Him be our King??? It's during this time of Advent that we should slow down and look at the golden thread of God's presence in our lives. So, take time to sit by the fire, in the deer stand, Noticing the Baby King loving, reacting, and changing things in our lives is important to notice and respond to. The Incarnation, the coming of God among us, is a gift from our heavenly Father to each of us. Not only does Jesus show us the way to the love of the with us helping us pick up our Crosses and to celebrate our Joys. The Baby King comes in all humility and wants to fit into our lives. He comes in a Manger showing us that He is ready to do what it takes to reach out to us where we are!!! Can you meet Him where you are and allow Him in Your life? Will you be brave and take the chance? Advent is a great time to let the New Born King in your life and to learn how much He loves you and showers His mercy upon you!!! Take time during this season to pray more, read scripture, pray a rosary - all of these activities can be done as a family. Make this a time of spiritual renewal for your family!!! REMINDER: Please fill in as needed when you notice a vacancy during Mass even when you are not scheduled. Please Note Change: Rosary will begin 25 minutes before Mass Liturgical Changes Effective 1st Sunday of Advent The people will no longer stand for the presentation of the gifts. People at 7:00 a.m. Mass will no longer read the entire Responsorial Psalm. We will no longer have teen sacristans, only adults may serve; Need adults to train. There must never be just one adult, priest or deacon alone with altar servers in sacristy. A parent or teacher must always accompany altar servers to their change room. Envelopes for Special Collections should be placed in the regular collection basket. All funerals and vigils must be scheduled through church office. Deacons should not be contacted directly. Only wine, bread and collection money will be presented with gifts - no water.
