Over the last seven months, I have been learning what it means to be a Pastor of a school and how I can, as Pastor, support our great school. I say this with great pride already!!! We truly have a great school with great spirituality, academics, and tradition. Part of my learning has been spending and our Superintendent learning how we can help our great school put its best foot So we have been working on budgeting, academics, signage, cleaning, and other projects. I have always believed that if I am not improving myself and challenging myself that I may be losing or missing something God has in store for me. I take this same thought process and hope we continue to keep answering God's call for the future of our school. One of our greatest challenges is that folks may not have heard about our great school. I beg you to tell, invite, or send up smoke signals about how awesome our school is!!! We follow the current state standards as well as educational standards set forth by the Archdiocese of enrichment through clubs, sports, and our new Robotics Program (provided by a generous donation) and BETA Club both of which are centered around STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) curriculum and involve activities that promote these subjects. We are currently seeking project managers or engineers who would like to facilitate the Robotics Program after school and at competitions. becomes an opportunity for growth including those in the lunchroom, church, playground and the gym. From ipads and technology located throughout the school, to devotions during Morning Prayer and singing joyfully at our weekly school Masses we are dedicated to ensuring that our students thrive spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically and culturally. We want to thank the Lord for blessing us with the opportunity to provide a safe and caring environment in which young people can openly smile, pray, be challenged, and grow in their love of neighbor, knowledge, and most fully, God.
