2 Our Wild Game Feed on Feb. 8th was well attended and lots of fun! Several different types of wild game were served. A big thank you to all of the volunteers who made it a success! 3 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Kid Zone Nursery is in need of volunteers on Sunday mornings 7:45-11:30am, as well as Tues and Weds evenings. Tickets available online March 12th at ourladyofthevalley.net ADORATION CHAPEL Exposition (when the Eucharistic Host is visible in the Monstrance on the Altar) occurs 3 times per week: Mondays 8am-11pm Tuesdays 10am-11pm Wednesdays 8am-10pm Even during Exposition times, if you want to visit the Adoration Chapel after 4:30pm (or anytime the office is closed) you MUST have a prox card to open the door. Everyone is still welcome to use the Adoration Chapel, even when Exposition is not happening. Jesus is always present in the Tabernacle. Offer a Mass for Someone We have Holy Mass every day of the week and we would love to offer some for you and your intentions. Did you know you can offer a Mass for: a living person (even for anniversaries or birthday/baptism days), a special prayer request, in thanksgiving for graces already received, or for someone who has died? If you are a registered parishioner you may have three Masses per year offered for your intentions. To do so, stop by the office from 8:30-4:30 or call to see which dates are available. There is no charge; however, a typical offering is $10 per Mass. Middle School Wed. Feb. 27th, 6:00-7:15pm God Sent His Only Son High School Sun. Shields Street 7 am 7 pm, Sign-ups for Vigil Hours after all masses this weekend and Mar. 2nd & 3rd Day of Prayer and Fasting Beginning this Lent of 2019 and every year after, the first Friday after Ash Wednesday will be designated as a day of prayer and fasting for the healing of all victims and survivors of sexual abuse, along with prayer in reparation for the sin and all sins against the dignity of persons and life, especially those committed against minors. Restoration of Our Mary Statue Thank you to our talented parishioner Tyler Kennedy for this beautiful restoration of Our Lady. Her new home is in the Adoration Chapel. Here are the before and after photos of the restoration: Natural Family Planning Classes A 3-part class series for the sympto-thermal method of Natural Family Planning through the Couple to Couple League will begin March 25th at 6:30 (follow up class dates 4/29 and 5/20) at OLV. This series is for couples in all stages of life, not just engaged couples! Whether you are wanting to avoid or achieve pregnancy NFP is highly effective and all natural. If you are interested in a class for postpartum or pre-menopause Transitions, this can be scheduled as well.
