Thou art ever existent, Ever conscious, ever blissful. We mediate on Thy most adorable glory. Mayest Thou guide and inspire our intellect On the path of highest divinity! May we be able to discriminate Between truth and false hood. (Rig.Vedas ) =Sekfld The true blessed generation is the one who has been endowed with spiritual, moral education by its parents and Acharyas. Our holy scriptures have always focused on the need of guidance for the children up to five years of age by his mother, upto nine years of age by his father and thereafter sent to Acharyakulam to be enlightened by learned Acharyas, Acharyaas and also the Guru. I think of the great soul who initiated the idea of the modern day Acharaykulam to Param Pujya Swamiji and Shradheya Achayashreeji. He deserves a lot of regard and respect, to have thought of such a unique endeavour. While I think such an institute should have been set up 50 years back, in today s world, this is the need of the hour. We as global citizens are realizing the importance of ancient knowledge and wisdom and are witnessing a gradual shift in the attitude of people to go back to the basics. This revolution is surprisingly not in our country alone but worldwide. Yoga has been discovered as the infinitely beneficial way of living, not a mere form of exercising. Ayurvedas has started making way into our daily life, the moment we get up from bed. Sattwik living is the newly defined way to detox. Our ancient traditions, heritage and Vedic values are getting the much deserved international recognition. Life is, day by day becoming complex and complicated. Crisis in character and degradation of values are reflected in every sphere of human life. Standard of moral and social life is coming under strain. In such grim situation an educational institute like Acharyakulam is of crying need to foster and impart value added education to the students. Value edcuation is ingrained in the very tradition of Indian Culture. The Vedas and the Upnishadas which are a great source of inspiration are full of value education. In the Vedic period after the completion of education in Aashram at the feet of Guru, Shishya was exhorted by his Guru in order to follow certain values throughout his life. Thus, Guru sheshya parampara is our age old tradition. What clearly follows is that we strengthen our knowledge and impart it in a contemporary way to the future flag bearers of the Nation. Let us contemplate about what we got from the modern day institutes that stand for the objective of churning money. In the race for staying relevant, what have we lost and what have we gained? As we find our answers, the trust in Acharyakulam strengthens further. Development of any country or nation depends largely on the development of its human resources which is the by product of sound health and qualitative education. Education is the key to bring social changes and education is the only medium to accomplish our aim to become Vishwa Guru and for this very reason Acharyakulam has been established under the guidance and blessings of Param Pujya Swamiji Maharaj and Shradheya Achayashreeji. After completing the education the well versed students of Acharyakulam will not only contribute their services to the society but also they will become good citizens with ethical human values. Thus, Acharyakulam, as an institute is not about mere schooling, it is about building character and imparting a rich life style close to the roots and principles of integrity. We focus on clean eating, disciplined daily life, and a positive bend of mind. We have pledged to foster young minds with a sense of eagerness to question, learn and grow everyday. FROM PRINCIPAL S DESK... vks3e~ I am really honoured to have joined the first Achayarkulam of India as Principal. The unique concept under the able guidance of Param Pujya Swami Ramdev Maharaj Ji & Hon ble Shradheya Achayashreeji is not only providing good quality modern education to children but also all the children are learning Ved and knowledge of Shastras. They also learn Sanskrit. The purpose is to inculcate moral values amongst children. They perform Yoga and Sh. L.R. Saini (Director) Km. Vandana Mehta (Principal) Hawan Yajana in the morning and then they are transformed into an English speaking modern day school children. The honourable director Sh. L.R. Saini ji is putting in his best efforts to take the institution to culminating heights. His politeness is reflected in all the staff members and children. The infrastructure facility is excellent. All the classrooms are facilitated with smart or interactive boards in order to make teaching learning process more comprehensible and acceptable to the students. The music room, the art room, science lab, the computer lab and sports room are all well equipped. Best faculty members are working towards the holistic and personality development of the children. The emphasis is not only on mugging and rote learning, rather digging deeper and deeper into learning. Acharyakulam is preparing children to cope up with the global challenges and lead a contemporary life style. These children will not only serve the nation but also spread the knowledge to the other parts of the world. The pious ambience at Acharyakulam will enable the children to become divine and glorious. My best wishes to all these future citizens of India. xq#ok.kh vk;qoszn ve`r vfræqra fg Hkq tkuksa ukgkjflfkfrekiuq;kr~a HkksT;kuqiwohZa uks osfùk u pkâjlleine~aa ukfræqrk'kh rrlozeuwua çfr rsa çlknfefuæ;k.kka p rfkk okrkuqykserke~aa vfræqr Hkkstu u djuk& vfkkzr~& vfr'kh?kz Hkkstu djus ls vkgkj viuh flfkfr esa ugha igq prk gsa og HkksT;kuqiwohZ vfkkzr~ Hkkstu dh Øfedrk (dksu&lk inkfkz igys rfkk dksu&lk i'pkr~ [kkuk pkfg,] bl çdkj dh vkuqiwohz) dks ugha tku ikrk gsa 'kh?kzrk ds dkj.k vuujl dh mrñ"vrk (xq.kleink) dk vuqhko ugha dj ikrk gsa tcfd vfr'kh?kzrk dks NksM+ /hjtiwozd ('kkfur ls) Hkkstu djus okyk O;fDr mdr lhkh xq.kksa dks vpnh rjg ls çkir dj ysrk gsa bl çdkj Hkkstu djus ls mldh bfuæ;k çluu gksrh gsa rfkk okr dk vuqykseu (ey}kj ls fuxzeu) gks tkrk gsa 'khfrdjksfr pkâk a Hkq tkuks frfoyfec& re~a HkqÄ~Drs cgq p 'khra p u r`firef/xpnfraa 'ksr;kn~cgqrok}sjjl;kn~ HkqDra Dys'ksu ip;rsa vfr foyeciwozd Hkkstu u djuk& vfkkzr~& cgqr /hjs&/hjs Hkkstu djus ls lkjk vuu 'khry gks tkrk gsa vuu vf/d ek=kk esa [kk;k tkrk gs o r`fir Hkh ugha gksrh gsa bl çdkj [kkus ls Hkkstu ds 'khry] ek=kk ls vf/d o fojl gks tkus ds dkj.k ikpu esa dfbukbz gksrh gsa vr;q".khkkstufttàkd.bks ân;ksnje~a }árs u jla osfùk jksxka'pkiuksfr nk#.kku~a eq[kkf{kikd&osliz&jdrfiùk&hkzetojku~aa vr;q".k Hkkstu u djuk& vfkkzr~& vfr m".k Hkkstu djus ls ftàk] d.b] vks"b] ân; rfkk mnj esa tyu gksrh gs] Hkkstu ds jl dh Bhd ls vuqhkwfr ugha gksrha vfr m".k Hkkstu ls eq[kikd (eqag dk iduk)] vf{kikd] foliz ] jdrfiùk] Hkze rfkk Toj vkfn Hk;adj gks tkrs gsaa AA vkpk;zdq yeq re~ AA 1- fo kfou;leiuuka osfndha pk/qukruhe~a çlkj.kk; pks¼rqze~] vkpk;zdqyeq re~ AA 2- leiw.kzfo'o fuf[kys txfr çfl¼k% f'k{kkfu/s% xq.kfu/s% Jqfr ukniw.kkz%a okd~ dks'kyk; fujra fø;rs ç;kl%,oa fo k cgqxq.kk çfrhkkle`¼%aa 3- fu%js;lks H;qn; bfr è;s;a fg ;L;A lkjlorka p fonq"kk bo vky;ks fgaa 4- vksnk;za eufl Jqfrço.krk Lokè;k;jkxksftZre~A nh?kkz;q"euke;ke`e;a] leçkiuq;kr~&dke;saa ljlor;k% leqikldk% fur;ksrlo i{kksrlo eklksrlo laorlksrokfn fofo/ksrlo ÑrkuUnk% vk/qfudçkphu~ f'k{kki¼rs% laokgdk% f'k{kklaldkjkfourk% çfrhkk'kfyzu% ;Kfç;k% ;ksxfç;k'p Nk=kk% vur% Jqrhuka çhkkhkklqjso ekf.kd; iq t% lqçluukksojnkshkwrok foylurqa loszlk/qtuk% lqf[kukshkourq] lelrlueä~xykfu lurq ldydy;k.k~ le`f¼jlrqa tkéoh,l- HkkxZo (osnkpk;kz) vh;qn;,d utj esa& i`"b la[;k & 2 i`"b la[;k & 3 i`"b la[;k & 4 i`"b la[;k & 5 i`"b la[;k & 6 Nk=k@Nk=kkvksa }kjk jfpr fgunh jpuk,a Nk=k@Nk=kkvksa gsrq vk;ksftr fofhkuu çfr;ksfxrkvksa dh >yd Nk=k@Nk=kkvksa gsrq vk;ksftr fofhkuu çfr;ksfxrkvksa dh >yd Nk=k@Nk=kkvksa }kjk jfpr lalñr jpuk,a Nk=k@Nk=kkvksa }kjk jfpr vaxszth jpuk,a

It can buy a medicine But not health. It can buy your blood, But not life. Ansh Malik (7A) Success Success is not a matter of chance It is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for; It is a thing to be achieved, Success is not about marking Your goal and trying to achieve. If you adopt this definition as an aim Success is always yours. This way we communicate with others and with our own thoughts and wishes which Ultimately determine the height of our success. Prateek Kapoor (7B) Don t Tolerate Carelessness Once Gandhiji was in Madras (now Chennai). There, a young boy affectionately gave him a pencil to write. Gandhiji used that pencil for several days. One day, the pencil was misplaced, Gandhiji searched for it, leaving other important works. He was satisfied only when he got it back. He used to say- I could not play with the feelings of that boy nor can I allow carelessness even, it is mine. My little carelessness today may become great in future. It is a great sin. Such habits make a man great. Divisha Jain (6C) The Two Friends There were two little girls, Ritu and Nitu. They were good friends. One day, on the way to the park, Nitu was walking very slowly, because her leg was paining badly. She had hurt herself the day before. You are slow, slow, slow! Ritu rudely said to her friend. Slow, slow, slow! I cannot wait for you. She ran ahead. She did not see a big stone in front of her. She hit her feet on it and fell down. Oooo! She cried loudly, tears filling her eyes. Nitu came to her quickly and helped her. She tied a hanky round Ritu s hurt knee. She brought a glass of water for her. Don t cry, you ll soon be all right said Nitu gently to her friend, wiping her tears. I ll help you. Moral : A friend in need is a friend in deed. Samidha Hingane (6C) Happiness is a Journey... not a Destination 7 Steps to Happiness Happiness is a Journey... not a Destination 7 Steps to Happiness l Think less, Feel more. l Frown less, Smile more. l Talk less, Listen more. l Judge less, Accept more. l Watch less, Do more. l Complain less, Appreciate more. l Fear less, Love more. Abhinav Tripathi (7A) My Best Friend I have a friend, its name is Book. How it helps me just take a look. It gives knowledge worldwide, It is always with me in my bag inside. It doesn t cost much, it isn t too heavy, It makes me merry and very happy. It solves my problems hard or easy, It is always free for me and never busy, It never makes me feel sad and lonely, It is very helpful and very friendly. So, just make the book one of your friends and then see, how your world will be changed. Bhoomi (6C) Students and Fashion Though fashion is just moving step to step with time but what we see in the name of fashion is objectionable, specially when the students are involved in it. The students are supposed to learn more and more. There is no place for such things in their lives. There was a time when schools were considered to be the temple of learning. But now most of them are nothing but a showcase of the latest fashion. The poor students cannot afford to follow the latest fashion trends and so they adopt illegal means to obtain money. So-called fashion is just to ruin our new generation. Fashion is also the destroyer of a good character. The saying, plain life; high thinking is now some what deflecting. We must follow this saying: Fashion is also involved in spoiling the studies of the students. Students must keep themselves far away from this. Divyanshu (9B) Time Time is precious in our life. Don t waste the time. Use it in right way. If you destroy the time, The time will destroy you. The time is indicating you to Take improvements as much as you can, The time is indicating you to Use it as much as you can Amandeep Patel (7A) Life is the Computer Delete sorrow from your life. Save your Happiness. Hide your enemies. Enter new friends. Make your character as Hardware. And heart Software. Make your mind Floppy. And Shine your body as CD. Re-do your positive thoughts. Undo your negative thoughts. Follow these rules, so that your life s computer will never Hang. Saumya (6C) O! My Eleder Sister The thing which I can t cost, is called as my sister. The feeling which is in my sister, I called it bitter! But, she thinks like a teacher. That s why she is called my sister. Some uses their money to go in theatre But, my sister uses her money to send me letter! To send me letter She asks me Are you better? Her mind is like a calculator, Which works faster than ammeter That s why she is called my sister. Oh! my lovely sister I am not a narrator But, I am your quality collector, Oh! my sister I ll meet your later. Nishant Prakash (7A) My Best Friend A Friend is one, With whom I have fun And be compared to none. I share my feelings, Without fear, As she is my companion. Wishing you peace and more in everything you seek. 1- To be peaceful, remember no gain is a gain, if it is gained at the cost of y o u r p e a c e. E v e r y t h i n g i s meaningful only in the context of peace. So, put your peace above everything else. 2- To be peaceful, you must indulge yourself in silence. The cluttered mind needs quiet movements. Let all your doings be punctuated by non doings. 3- To be peaceful, you must celebrate work. Hold the sanctity of work above everything, and everything else will flow into your life naturally as by products. Work for the bigger and the best cause and if you follow these, a change will be there and it will make all the difference. Therefore, you must work for a cause, not for applause. Once a brilliant personality said: You can t go to the past and make a new starting but you can surely start today to make a better ending. Just realise that the day is yours. So, START TODAY Yuvraj Aditya Arya (10A) 8 8 A boy and a girl were friends. They both studied in the same class. The boy was selfish. But the girl was not. One day, the boy bought some marbles from the market. The same day, the girl bought some sweets. Their mother said to them to share them with each other. When they both met, the boy told the girl about his marbles and the girl told the boy about the sweets. The boy, as his mother had said to him, gave a marble to her. He chose the worst marble and gave it to her. The girl took it happily. The girl, as her mother had also said to her, gave the best of all sweets to the boy. That night, the boy couldn t sleep. He thought that he had given the girl his worst marble. So, has the girl also given him the worst sweet. The girl slept happily and soundly that night. She thought that when she gave the best, she had also got the best. So, we shouldn t be selfish. Raghav Gupta (7B) Famous Great Indian Saint : Swami Vivekanada ( ) gfj}kj vdvwcj] How to Become Confident? Confidence is a state of being that is temporary. One moment you may be confident, the very next moment you may have no trace of it. The trick is to regain confidence as soon as you lose it. Most students lack confidence because they do not believe in their abilities or do not prepare well for the challenges and tasks. If you are confident, you are sure of what you need to do and what you want to achieve. You feel happy and good. You do your best and achieve your goals and fulfill your dreams. First thing that you need to be confident is to work hard and prepare well for anything. Secondly, believe in yourself and your abilities. Thirdly, set clear, achievable goals and work in that direction to achieve them. Fourth, do not bother about what others think or say about you. Let your work and your achievements silence them. So always stay confident and be happy. Aahitaagni Arya (7B) Modern Challenges in Teaching and Learning English as Second Language and their Remedies Language is a pivotal means of communication. We can never think of a s o c i e t y w i t h o u t language. It hones and sharpens people's ideas and guides and puts control over their w h o l e g a m u t o f Biswanath Ghosh (TGT English) activities. It is undoubtedly the messenger of civilization and culture. Thus, English as a second language (ESL) becomes inseparable and unavoidable in Indian education system. But while learning second language, a psychological, physical, intellectual and emotional involvement is sine-quo-non to successfully send and interpret message. There is no denying that language is very prerogative means of communication. As far as mother tongue is concerned, the child learns it very easily, due to favourable environment and by dint of colossal exposure to the language. Students with English as a second language constitute a significant percentage of the world population around our globe and this population continues to increase more rapidly than that of the native English speaking students. Thus, teaching of English is becoming of great importance. But learning a second language requires a conscious and continuous endeavour and the exposure to the second language is very limited in our country. We should keep it in mind that majority of the students are in favour of classroom instruction for the second language acquisition. But there are innumerable other preconditions such as attitude, self- confidence, motivation, duration of exposure to the language, classroom conditions, environment, family background, availability of competent teachers etc. The major challenges that the learners of ESL experience is 'language shock', a struggle to learn English language to assimilate in a society that is not willing to accept diversity. Students face with a lot of hindrances in their endeavour to gain proficiency in English language. They often think that in order to be fully accepted, they must abandon their native language, surrounding as aspect of identity. They feel that they must speak English or nothing at all. Consequently, they become trapped in a painful power struggle over the use of English and their native language. To be continued... Swami Vivekananda was a great saint of India. The unknown monk of India suddenly leapt into fame at the world parliament of religions held in Chicago in 1893, where he represented Hinduism. His vast knowledge of Eastern and Western culture, as well as his, deep spiritual insight, eloquence, brilliant conversation, colourful personality and handsome figure inserted an irresistible appeal to people. He was born in He was spiritually inclined right from the childhood. He was pained at seeing the suffering of people. He met Ramkrishna Paramhansa and became his disciple. In 1893, Vivekananda went to Chicago to attend the World Parliament of Religions. With his brilliant speech, he impressed a great number of Americans. He was welcomed wherever he went in America. Many became his disciples. After returning to India, Vivekananda established the Ramkrishna Mission. He wrote many books including Hatha-Yoga, Bhakti-Yoga, Karma-Yoga and Raj-Yoga. He attained samadhi in Rudraksha Chandra Shukla (7B) Telephone : , , info@acharyakulam.org, Website :
