2 Page 2 Quartz Pieces in Sacred Geometry Shapes - Sacred geometry involves sacred universal patterns used in the design of everything in our reality, most often seen in sacred architecture and sacred art. The basic belief is that geometry and mathematical ratios, harmonics and proportion are also found in music, light, and cosmology. This value system is seen as widespread even in prehistory, a cultural universal of the human condition. It is considered foundational to building sacred geometry structures, such as temples, mosques, megaliths, monuments and churches, sacred spaces such as altars, tememoi and tabernacles, meeting places such as sacred groves, village greens and holy wells and the creation of religious art, iconography using divine proportions. By studying the nature of these patterns, forms and relationships and their connections, insight may be gained into the mysteries the laws and lore of the Universe. The set we have for sale is beautiful, consisting of five sacred geometry shapes in clear quarts, corresponding to an element (Fire, Earth, Air, Spirit, Water) each measuring about.8 inches, sitting in a wooden box about 7 long. Each box has a snap-on lock with a sticker inside giving the name of the shape and its corresponding element. And this beautiful set is reasonably priced at $ It would make a great gift, even a gift to yourself. Crystal Corner What in the world is a bone box? In ancient times, a bone box, or ossuary, was a stone depository for storing the bones of the dead. The dead would lay in a cave for a year and then would be collected and placed in an ossuary. It was a common practice to write the name of the deceased on the exterior of the ossuary. We are featuring miniature bone boxes, much too small for holding human bones..maybe the bones of a little bird, but I don t think that s why you would buy one. These boxes measure 3 by 4 and are trimmed with gold, lined in velvet..perfect for your favorite crystals, stones, or jewelry. They are priced at $10. Check them out! Angelite Angelite is a beautiful and calming stone, so named because of its ability to connect with the angelic realm. It was discovered fairly recently, in Peru in 1987 during the Harmonic Conversion. It is a solid pale blue form of calcium sulfate or anhydrate, which is gypsum that has lost water and crystallized. It sometimes shows traces of white calcium mineral. Angelite is the birthstone for the Zodiac sign Aquarius. This is a perfect stone for us since we have just entered the Age of Aquarius! Alchemy and Its Relation to Modern Chemistry May 3, 7-9:00 p.m. Although the alchemists had limited knowledge of modern chemical principles, their hard and diligent work produced many important insights into chemical mechanisms and behavior. They produced the foundations of modern chemistry both in experimental procedures as well as theoretical knowledge. They based their studies on different paradigms and models of nature and should not be referred to as a pseudoscience. Medicine Cabinet Makeover May 10, 2-4:00 p.m. Every participant will get a worksheet showing what a typical medicine cabinet holds and, on the opposite side, what a cabinet with natural products holds. Sandy will then go over a little history of essential oils how they work in the body, how modern medicine works in the body, the different grades of essential oils, the benefits of choosing them and HOW to use them. She will also go through the worksheet and talk about each oil mentioned and how it benefits the body. For instance, most people don t know that lavender is great for all kinds of burns even sunburn.
