Our partners are doing amazing things in the power of the Spirit through your prayers. They are involved in church planting, Bible translation, evangelism to unreached people, theological education, medical ministry, and media. Cash or checks made payable to Tenth Presbyterian Church, with January Project of the Month on the memo line, may be placed in offering plates or one of the oak boxes at the Sanctuary entrances. Participate in the Baby Bottle Fundraiser for AlphaCare. Fill baby bottles with loose change and bills (or checks). Baby bottles can be picked up in Reception Hall today and will be collected on February 4. Coffee is available in the lobby at 1710 before 9 AM Bible School classes. This involves working with Tenth s orphans, their schools, and scholarship students; visiting Rock Spring Presbyterian Church; and much more as time permits. Dr. Goligher, who is in Scotland, speaking at a friend s installation (Stan Adams, who has preached at Tenth); meeting with friends from his home church in Hamilton where he grew up; and preaching at the Crieff Conference for Ministers (started by William Still and associated with Eric Alexander and Sinclair Ferguson). He is also taking the opportunity to spend some time with his son David and family. 9 TENTH GIVING Tenth carries out its gospel-centered mission of proclaiming God s truth to those of us near and far away through servants who are worthy of their hire in their faithful work. Tenth s funds support those servants and cover other expenses (for our church ministries as well as maintenance, utilities, etc.) that keep the gospel work going, while we seek to create space for future gospel work through the Capital Campaign. Our combined Church Ministry Fund and Outreach Fund budgets for 2017 called for combined giving of $3,047,430. By the end of December, our giving rose significantly as shown above. Please join Tenth s Elders and Trustees as we praise God for the sacrificial giving toward our ongoing ministry for the gospel in Philadelphia and around the world.
