People on the street often request money from our attendees. Most service providers say those requesting money would be the first to admit they ll use it for drugs or alcohol. When asked say, I m sorry. I m not able to do that and give them a printed invitation to Sunday s Fellowship Bible Study or Community Dinner. These small yellow or blue cards are available in both lobbies. The deadline for bulletin announcements is Tuesday noon (earlier if a short work week). Announcements for prayer can be submitted past the deadline and will be included when possible (otherwise the following week). Large print bulletins and hymns are available in the narthex they are in black binders. Hearing assistance devices and large print Bibles are also available nearby. Please return all of these to the same location after use. An American Sign Language interpreter is present at evening services at the sanctuary front (18th Street side). 7 UPCOMING EVENTS Join us for a church-wide prayer dinner on Tuesday, May 1, 6:45 8 PM, in Fellowship Hall. A Bible study near the University of Pennsylvania invites locals to a two -month overview series as they study the book of James. The study is led by Phil Scribano and Greg Berzinsky and hosted by the Berzinskys. They meet 7:30 9 PM the first three Wednesdays in May and June, with study on the first and third weeks and prayer and praise on the second week. For additional information, please contact Mary Berzinsky. The Spring Global Outreach Conference is on Sunday, May 6. It will focus on how God is reaching the nations with the gospel through both local and global efforts. Western Suburbs Parish men will hold a prayer breakfast at the Wayne Panera (319 E. Lancaster Ave, Wayne, PA, between St. Davids & Aberdeen Roads, on north side of street) Saturday, May 12, 7:30 AM. Contact Paul Reimold for information. Sparrows will meet for Play Dough Adventures on Saturday, May 12, 1 3 pm, in Fellowship Hall.
