I am writing this letter to bring out the problems faced by our students during commuting. Most of the buses from K. K. Nagar bus terminus ply through P.T. Rajan Salai and Kamarajar Salai which house a number of offices, shops and commercial establishments. Since the parking space within the compounds is limited, employees and visitors park the vehicles on both sides of the roads hampering vehicle movement. Further there are many encroachments on the pavements which force the students to walk almost on the middle of the road, thereby risking their lives. I request the authorities concerned to either divert the bus routes from these roads to some other road or to convert the roads into No parking zones.
