1 PRAYER DIARY February 2018 EDITOR: MICHAEL WALL TEL: Items for March are required by Sunday 18 th February PRAYER MEETINGS Kidz work Thursday Mornings at 7.00am (followed by breakfast) Every Saturday Morning at 8.00am Church Prayer Meeting 22 nd February at 7.45pm 1 Pray for all involved in the University Mission taking place this week. Pray for a good response. 2 Please pray for Alan Tower attending his final Latin Link International Conference in Guatemala, for the final goodbyes and thank-yous he will be making and for the encouragement for all. 6 Brigader girls from Girls' Brigade are attending young leader training in Emsworth today and tomorrow. Pray that they

2 get a lot out of the training and can put it into practice when they get back into the company a.m. Prayer Meeting Remember the Kohler family as they prepare to return to Australis, Lee asks us to pray for the right church, the right house and the right schools. 4 Sunday Today there is Farewell lunch for Laura Eades. Pray for Rod and Laura as they transition into a different season of their lives. 5 Remember the Elders as they meet tomorrow. 6 RE inspired are doing many lessons in our secondary schools Maiden Erleigh and Bulmershe this month. Pray for attentive hearts and also that our own young people would be encouraged to stand up for their faith as they receive these lessons and engage with local Christians 7 Pray for those who work for the church as they have a whole staff meal today. 8. Coffee and craft are running a 'God loves you' series on a Thursday afternoon through to March 16th. Pray for the group doing this course which includes a talk and craft around the theme of the day. Today's theme is forgiveness

3 9 Pray for all the young people attending RNR (Resolution Residential) this weekend in Milton Keynes a.m. Prayer Meeting Pray for all attending the Take a Break party today. 11 Sunday As we say goodbye to Rachel for faithful ministry to the youngest children in Wycliffe (Tinies) and pray blessing on her, Steve and Nathanael; we pray for the team, parents and members who we hope sense a calling to build team to lead this age group forwards. 12 Please pray for Phil Chevassuat's team in Ghana for their 4 month short term mission trip with Crosslinks! (departed on 11th Jan.). 13 Pray for Coffee and Craft as they seek funding for the new year and as they start their Community Cafe on a Tuesday morning from 9.30am to They have received the Coffee machine and hot chocolate machine as a gift and ordered a bespoke coffee trolley for the community to use and are looking to raise funds to cover this cost and establish the session firmly. 14 Pray for Helen Eaton and all the Wycliffe Bible Translators Team in Mbeya Tanzania. Pray for the new staff who will encourage more people to learn to read and use the scripture portions being translated for them. Pray for good results from the planning meetings that Helen will attend this month and in March.

4 15 Pray for one of the Boomers leaders, Ela, who is getting married this month and has taken time off to plan her wedding. Pray for Ela and her husband that they will be greatly blessed on their wedding day and their marriage may be a blessing to their family and friends. 16 Pray for the Young Adults weekend away in Gillingham, Kent,. Nathan Hunt is speaking a.m. Prayer Meeting Pray for A Task Unfinished, an event organised by OMF taking place at The Carey Centre today. 18 Sunday Building on from the Pulse Ministries training event for CYF leaders last month, please pray that our relationships will continue to strengthen; with God and with each other and that we see where Jesus is at work and join him there. 19 Remember the East Reading Prospects Group as they meet tomorrow. 20 The Church council meets tonight. Pray for wisdom and revelation for all our leaders. 21 Please remember toddlers meeting each Wednesday morning. They have on average 30 plus mums form all over the world and always new ones just arrived in Reading. Pray for the bible story

5 time especially as we try to explain the Easter story in the next weeks. 22 There is a Church prayer meeting. Pray that we would be hungry to really meet with God and hear His voice as we cry out to our Father. 23. Please continue to pray for Alpha meeting each Friday night through to Easter. Pray that each person attending will not only grow in faith but make good connections to transition into church life at the end of the course a.m. Prayer Meeting The ladies monthly get together is a movie night. Pray for good fellowship and invitation to non Christian friends. 25. Sunday We have regulars and another 5 children who are not so frequent in Boomers (ages 6 and 7/ school years 1 and 2). Pray for those who don't come so often to join in well when they are with us and to feel a part of the group. Also pray for the children who have joined us from Boomerangs to continue to settle in well. We are learning about Isaac in February. Pray that children and leaders will gain a lot from these studies. 26 Coffee and Craft ask for prayer for direction as they seek God and discern what he wants them to do and if he wants them to change over the forthcoming year.

6 27 Pray for those who are persecuted for their faith. 28 Pray for all attending housegroups which are meeting this week.
