If you are 18 years of age or older, you are invited to join us on Friday nights, beginning October 27 at 7pm. For more information please email celebraterecovery@olphparish.

Paul teaches, love is eternal: it endures when all else passes away. This eternal love compels us to keep our loved ones in mind.

The Book will be included in our November liturgies. Out of love, we recall and pray for our beloved dead, hoping and trusting in God s mercy to welcome them into the glory of heaven.

The Book of the Names of the Dead will be located in the sanctuary beginning October 29 and you are invited to write the names of your loved ones who have died. May all of God s people, past and present, continue to share in God s love now and forever. Children s Choir Volunteers are needed to bake homemade baked goods such as cakes, sweet breads and cookies for our Christmas Bazaar. Medical Equipment Closet Please contact the Parish Nurse to borrow medical equipment. If you are hoping to donate medical equipment of any kind, please contact Sheila before bringing to the church. Thank you! St. Francis Children s Choir rehearsals will begin on Thursday, November 2 from 5:45-6:30pm at the church. Anyone grades 2-5 is welcome to participate in this wonderful ministry. The Children s Choir rehearses weekly and leads the music at the 9:00 liturgy once per month as well as the 3:00 Christmas Eve service. The children will enhance our worship with their joy filled voices and deepen their own understanding of music s role in the liturgy. We ask that you arrive between 6:45 and 7:00 and invite you to bring a framed picture of your loved one to be displayed at a light reception following the service. For more information, contact Berta Sabrio - liturgymusic@instrumentofpeace.org St. Francis of Assisi Parish Mass and Anointing of the Sick Sunday, November 5 th, 3pm Join us for a special Mass and receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. This sacrament helps unite those who are suffering with Jesus saving and healing power. It is a sacrament for all who are ill, injured, have an upcoming surgery, are struggling with addiction, elderly, or simply have personal health concerns. Through this sacrament people receive comfort in their suffering; they are restored in spirit; receive forgiveness of their sins and sometimes even experience the return of physical health. The sacrament also reminds us that God wants to give comfort to the suffering and wants us to relieve suffering where we can. Medical personnel will be on hand to assist anyone in need. St. Francis of Assisi Parish is handicap accessible.
