Kevin Ewing will be assisting at daily and weekend liturgies through the month of April! Be sure to welcome him to our parish. Fr. Kevin Ewing is from Fallston, MD. The youngest of three children, he grew up in a Catholic family, and attended St. John the Evangelist Parish and School in Hydes, MD. He went to Calvert Hall High School and attended University of Maryland, College Park, before entering the seminary in He was ordained this past June, and looks forward to serving with us! 14 Ash Wednesday, February 14th 12:15 Liturgy of the Word and distribution of ashes 7pm Mass *Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of fasting and abstinence. 4 ADULT FAITH FORMATION Contact Berta Sabrio, Pastoral Associate Worship and Adult Faith Disciples in Mission The Ladies Disciples in Mission group will once again hold their weekly Lenten study, and would love to have you join! We meet each Friday, starting February 16th, from 10-11:30am, using the Disciples on a Mission study. Come study scripture, share your faith, and pray and laugh together. Scientists cannot explain the source of the image which contains photographic and 3-D properties on a cloth centuries old. But is this the actual burial cloth of Jesus Christ? Bill Wingard, a speaker for the Shroud, will present the case for authenticity, and you can be the judge. Come see a full size replica of the Shroud and the photographic negative images that sparked an explosion of scientific interest and debate over a century ago which continues to today. 5 Mark your calendars! The Maryland Catholic Conference s 34th annual Catholics in Annapolis event is February 22, 2018, 3-8 pm. Catholics in Annapolis provides a chance for you to come together with Catholics from across the State of Maryland for an evening of food, fun, faith and advocacy. Meet your lawmakers, mingle with Maryland s Catholic Bishops and your fellow parishioners, and share the Catholic belief in the dignity of all lives. Catering will be provided by B.E.S.T. Catering, a culinary job-training enterprise of the Light House Homeless Prevention Support Center in Annapolis. The event is free but registration is required.
