Parents must be a registered members of the Church of Saint Patrick. One Godparent must be confirmed, practicing Catholic. Both must be Christian and at least 16 years old. Parents are required to attend a Baptism preparation program. Please call Annemarie Dirndorfer at for details, to request paperwork or to get more information. SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION: The Sacrament of Reconciliation is administered on Saturday 3:00 to 3:30 or you may call the Parish Office for an appointment. SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY: Archdiocesan policy requires couples to make an appointment with a priest or deacon at the parish at least six months before the date of the marriage. 3 Fifth Sunday of Easter With Teenagers Ages If your child is planning to volunteer at the parish this summer, perhaps at a Youth Ministry Event or Vacation Bible School, he or she will need to complete Worthy of the Call training. Training is necessary for all parish volunteers between the ages of 14 & 17. The training consists of a video and reflection questions that cover topics such as the purpose of Youth Ministry, ways that you can protect yourself as a volunteer, signs that a young person is experiencing a crisis, and how to handle a young person in crisis.. The next Worthy of the Call training session will be Thursday, May 18th, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the McCrory Room of the school. If you would like your child to participate in this training session, or if you need more information, please contact our youth minister, Courtney Fair at courtney.fair@archbalt.org. Children s Ministry Effective immediately, children s ministry will stop for the summer. We will resume on September 17, 2017 and will go to May 13, 2018; during the 10:30 Mass. We will have two programs at that time. Children who have not received First Eucharist will be able to stay out for the entire 10:30 am Mass. Older children will be able to participate in Children s ministry during Liturgy of the Word. The children will leave before the begin of Liturgy of the Word and will return during the Offertory. During the summer months, we will have activities for the children with the hospitality tent. Welcome NEW PARISHIONERS: We welcome all new members to our parish family. Please complete a registration form found in the church vestibule or parish office. To participate in the Sacraments of Baptism and Matrimony or to be granted a letter of eligibility for sponsorship at Confirmation or to be a Godparent you must be a registered/active parishioner of the Church of Saint Patrick. If you have any questions, please call the parish office. CARE OF THE SICK: Please notify the Parish Office when a member of the parish is in the hospital or if someone is unable to attend Mass. If they wish to receive the Eucharist or the Sacrament of the Sick, because of a serious illness or major surgery, arrangements will be made when you call the Parish Office. Also, a family member should notify the office of a parishioner s death. BULLETIN DEADLINE: Articles for the bulletin must be ed to SPhgrace@archbalt.org by 12:00pm on Wednesday, the week before publication. Articles should be created in a way that will allow them to be reduced in size to fit available space and should be in a.doc format. Color is fine, but keep in mind that it will print in grayscale.

4 m Fifth Sunday of Easter TREE OF LIFE The Tree of Life located in the side vestibule of the Church, was dedicated on June 12, 2010, as a lasting memorial for our Parish. You may wish to dedicate a leaf on the Tree of Life to honor a special person or occasion. The Church of Saint Patrick has many capital projects that require extraordinary financial support. You may designate the project you wish to support with your donation. Call the Parish Office for more details.. Alzheimer s & Dementia Support Group. The Alzheimer's and Dementia Support Group meets on the third Tuesday of the month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Convent on Stokes Street.
