12 OUR CHURCH FAMILY Please continue to remember Ruth Timmer at Medilodge. Dewey Westra was able to return home. Pray for continued healing and strength for him. Raj Troast is home from the hospital. He is scheduled for a heart ablation procedure on February 15. Please remember Gloria De La Garza as she continues to struggle with health issues. Remember Jeanie as well as she tends to her family as well as her father who also is suffering from heart-related difficulties. Heidi Smit underwent surgery this Thursday. Harley Berens underwent knee replacement surgery also this past Thursday. Paul Bult underwent a procedure on Thursday to remove kidney stones. Pray for full and speedy recoveries for all of these. Evelyn Kolean is scheduled to have knee replacement surgery tomorrow. Continue to keep Dirk Hollebeek and his family in prayer as well as the little grandson of Vern and Lois Prins, Davis De Jong. Be in prayer for Leah Koeman who will be leaving for Lesotho on February 1 God s blessings to you! We offer Christian condolences to Ruth and Ken Postma in the passing of Ruth s sister, Clarice Zuidema, who passed away last Sunday. Mrs. Zuidema resided in Jenison; she was 77 years old. May the God of all peace and comfort sustain you in your loss and grief. Our sincere Christian sympathy is also offered to The Rozema family in the unexpected passing of Jean Rozema this past Monday evening. We praise and thank God for His faithfulness to Jean and for her testimony of love for Him and now pray that God will comfort her family and friends in this time of loss and sorrow. DISCIPLER S BIBLE STUDY GROUPS: The Men s/women s Wednesday Evening Group meets again on January 31 and will pick up their Hebrews study at Lesson #7. ADVANCE NOTICE: At Robert s request, the Swierenga family has planned a BOWLING PARTY for his 60th birthday on Saturday night, February 10, from 5-8 p.m. at Zeeland Bowling Lanes. 15 YOUTH CORNER January 28, 2018 CHILDREN S WORSHIP for children ages 3 and 4 will begin again this morning. The children are dismissed as indicated in the order of worship and meet downstairs in the Children s Center. Today s Teacher: Jill Ellerbroek; Helper: Anna Bouma SUNDAY SCHOOL for Pre-K through 5th grade will meet from 10:45 11:45 a.m. downstairs. The kids join in the Fellowship Room for refreshments and then gather in the Children s Center for opening and singing before going to their classes. Serving today: Kris Bruinsma CATECHISM classes for grades 6 through 12 meet today from 11:00 11:45 a.m. in various rooms in the Ministry Center. The young people are asked to gather in the main room and wait for their teachers to join in their classrooms. GEMS GIRLS CLUB will meet this Wednesday, January 31, to enjoy a Swim Night at the Aquatic Center from 6:30 8:15 p.m. Parents are asked to drop off and pick up their children. CADETS BOYS CLUB meet on Wednesday, January 31, from 6 8 p.m. for a night of service around the church neighborhood. & GAME NIGHT TONIGHT! Our guests from My Brothers /My Sisters House will join with the High School Youth Group following evening worship tonight.
