2 A warm and loving welcome to everyone as we gather on this God s holy day to worship Him. A special welcome to all of our guests and visitors we are glad you have joined us! Pastor Marc will be leading us in our worship this morning and we will complete our series on Who We Are and Our Commitments.. This evening Pastor Chad will bring the message from God s Word. He will continue with the study of the Heidelberg Catechism. The Chancel Choir will offer special ministry of music. This is the day that the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it! 13 OUR CHURCH FAMILY Continue to lift up to the Lord Dirk Hollebeek who is being treated for Graft vs. Host Disease. Lois Nienhuis was to have been able to return home on Friday. Praise God for the progress she has made. Continue to remember Bob and Jo Sluiter as together they determine the best caregiving arrangement needed for Bob. Alma Krol remains under Hospice care at her home at Resthaven Maplewoods. Ruth Timmer also remains under Hospice care at Medilodge. Gail Zylstra was to have gone to Ann Arbor on Wednesday for another eye check-up. Pray for good results for her. Sharon Berkompas is adjusting to new medications for her pulmonary fibrosis. Pray that goes well for her and that she experiences good results. Continue to offer prayer on Jett Ellerbroek s behalf that God would bring him to true repentance and a desire to find healing in Him. Hugh Slenk continues to serve in Texas with World Renew for disaster relief. Pray for him and the efforts of the team that God s name would be glorified in their work. Please note that two additional names have been added to the list of Christmas cards and greetings for those who are unable to worship with us: Gerry Jipping and Jett Ellerbroek. 16 YOUTH CORNER November 4, 2018 Children's Worship for children ages 3 & 4 will meet as usual this morning and the children are dismissed as indicated in the order of worship. Parents, please pick your child up at the Children s Center immediately following morning worship. Today s Teacher and Helper: Shelly Koeman/Marianna Ellerbroek Next Week s Teacher and Helper: Carol Van Dyke/Kirsten Buter Sunday School for ages 4 through 5th grade will also meet as usual this morning. Children gather in the Children s Center downstairs immediately following morning worship and are dismissed at 11:45 a.m. from their classrooms. Catechism for grades 6-12 will meet from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. in their various assigned classrooms in the Ministry Center this morning. CADETS: Cadets will meet on November 7 for a regular meeting. The boys and their leaders meet downstairs in The Ministry Center from 6:30 8:15 p.m. GEMS: The GEMS too will meet again on Wednesday, November 7, for a regular meeting. The girls and their leaders meet upstairs in The Ministry Center from 6:30 8:15 p.m. as well. MIDDLE SCHOOL ETC will be heading to Rebounderz in Jenison for an evening of fun, food and fellowship on Friday night, November 9. They will leave the church at 5:15 p.m. and arrive back at 8:30 p.m. You must RSVP to Kris Bruinsma no later than Wednesday, November 7. Cost will be $10.00 per person which includes admission, pizza and drink, and Rebounderz socks. HIGH SCHOOL and MIDDLE SCHOOL E.T.C will join again for Youth Group Meeting next Sunday night, November 11, immediately following evening worship.
