14 OUR CHURCH FAMILY Please remember in prayer: Dewey Westra who continues under doctors care for the necessary treatments for cancer; James Bouma who continues his recovery from surgery; Jack Nykamp at Holland Hospital suffering from a large kidney stone, intestinal problems and a touch of pneumonia; Jo Sluiter who will be undergoing hip replacement surgery on Thursday, November 30; Raj Troast who was admitted to Holland Hospital with heart-related issues and underwent a heart catherization on Tuesday which went well indicating no blockages; Ella Groman who continues to recover now at home; Ella Windemuller (at Resthaven Maple Woods) and Ruth Timmer (at Medilodge) who continue under Hospice care. Pray for all of these that God s presence would be known to them in a special way and that He would minister to each one according to His good and gracious will. We offer our sincere Christian sympathy to Don and Kathy and Jennifer Cook and Ann and Helen Lim in the passing of Bernice Cook. We praise and thank God for the lovely testimony Bernice was to God s love and faithfulness and rejoice in the precious gift of eternal life for those who live and die in the Lord. Condolences to Derrick and Tami Staat and family in the passing of Derrick s father, Neal, who passed away on Sunday, November 19. 17 YOUTH CORNER November 26, 2017 CHILDREN S WORSHIP for children ages 3 and 4 during morning worship. Children are dismissed as indicated in the order of worship and meet downstairs in the Children s Center. Today s Teacher: Ann Bushouse; Helper: Shari Smith SUNDAY SCHOOL for Pre K 5th Grade will meet from 10:45-11:45 a.m. downstairs in the Children s Center. The kids join in the Fellowship Room for refreshments and then gather in the Children s Center for opening and singing before going to their classes. Serving today: Jen Peters CATECHISM for 6th 12th grade meets this morning from 11:00-11:45 a.m. The young people are asked to gather in The Ministry Center and wait for teachers to join in their classrooms. GEMS Girls Club as well as Cadets Boys Club will meet this Wednesday, November 29, from 6:30 8:15 p.m. for regular meetings. GEMS meet upstairs in the Ministry Center and Cadets meet downstairs. MIDDLE SCHOOL E.T.C. & High School Youth Group HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL ETC YOUTH GROUPS will be shopping for Christmas Gifts for the J.O.Y. Ministries children this Wednesday, November 29. Dinner will be available at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Room and the group will leave for shopping at 6:30 p.m. and then back to the Ministry Center to wrap at 7:30 p.m. Join whenever you can!
