David writes, In his homily at the Chrism Mass in Rome this past spring, Pope Francis spoke of the anointing of Aaron as being an anointing that must go to "the edges" and "the fringes." He lovingly referred to the mission of the Church as reaching out to the "existential outskirts." Such wonderful language has encouraged all of the faithful to reach out to the fringes in our own societies and parish communities. To read more, go to Taize Prayer for Christian Unity will be held in the Queen of Peace Chapel at the Cathedral of the Holy Family on the 1st Tuesday of each month from 7:30-8:30pm. Typically offered in retreat houses, Taize is making its way into the corporate prayer life of churches and offers Christians of all stripes and colours the opportunity to pray together.
