6 DOWN THE STREET AND AROUND THE WORLD BE IN PRAYER FOR OUR UPCOMING MISSIONS PERU November 3rd 10th Reach316 meets on Monday evening at 6:00pm. You can go to to let us know you are coming and to complete any follow up information about any recent visits you have made. We are encouraging Bible Fellowship classes to get involved and send representatives each week to be a part of these outreach efforts. OCTOBER FOOD PANTRY NEEDS Canned Meats: Tuna, Chicken Potted Meat, Vienna Sausages Spam, Treet & Peanut Butter ARM Mailbox Bible Club The A.R.M. Mailbox Bible Club gives people the opportunity to encounter God and grow in spiritual maturity through correspondence Bible studies. Volunteers graded almost 450 lessons in July and sent invitations to another 125 individuals. Sixteen students completed their first series and received a God s Word Translation Bible. During the month of July one adult made a profession of faith. We continue to receive prayer requests with a range of concerns. Almost all of the requests ask us to pray for family, either for relationship problems or for salvation. Many students voice a desire to have a closer relationship with God. Some students send comments about how much the lessons mean to them. Betty wrote These lessons really help me to continue reading my Bible and understand more and more how much God loves and cares for me, and I love God more and more. Sharon said I so enjoy these studies. They are a blessing to me. Diane commented on what she had learned from a lesson. She stated A life of victory hinges on three things. The initial act of surrender to the Lord Jesus as Master, the fixed purpose of doing what will please Him, and the daily habit of spending time with the Lord in prayer and Bible study. Please pray for this ministry to reach people with the Good News of the Gospel and pray for the volunteers as they write notes of encouragement to the students.

9 Women s Ministry Men s Ministry PRAYER BREAKFAST October 21st at 8:00 am Family Life Center All men are welcome to join us for breakfast and a time of fellowship and prayer in the Family Life Center. Please contact Kennon Chambers at kicham.1973@gmail.com or call (304) with any questions or if you are willing to help prepare the breakfast. Pumpkin spice and everything nice is what little girls are made of right? At least that's what they tell us when we are little. No one tells us as little girls how hard life can be or how easily we can stumble onto the wrong paths. Truth is we are all made up of the good and the bad. Our sinful flesh brings out the bad, yucky stuff and the Spirit of God within us highlights the good, beautiful things. Life can be full of rotten pumpkins and bitter spice but it's how we deal with it that makes the difference. If you allow the bad to take over and never seek God's help, then soon the bad just gets worse. God can take anything or situation and make it good. Trust in God in everything and He will take care of you. I know that it's hard to see the possibility of good through so much bad, but God is able, He is willing, and He will take care of your every need, if you only ask! We might not be made of pumpkin spice and everything nice but we are certainly beautifully made by God! He loves us and He wants to bless us with the good things, but sometimes we must ask Him to get us through the bad to get to the good, sweet blessings in life!! Have a Sweet October!!!! October 12 Lunch at Cross Lanes Christian School 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Meet in the church parking lot at 10:45 am if you need a ride to the school.
