Mark your calendars! annual Hog Roast Sunday, September 30th 4:30pm This year s hog roast will include outdoor activities for children and others of all ages (including volleyball), a hayrack ride, and it is all wrapped up in a beautiful outdoor setting. You may even just sit and enjoy the fellowship outdoors. Bring a dish to share; hog, baked beans, table service and beverage will be provided. You may also bring a favorite outdoor family game. Please bring lawn chairs for you and your family. We begin together at 11:30am at the church and bring your own sack lunch. 25 Years of Operation Christmas Child Samaritan s Purse project, Operation Christmas Child, began in Through this program Samaritan s Purse will collect shoebox gifts filled with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items, and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God s love in a tangible way. For many of these children, the giftfilled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received. In 2017, more than 11 million shoebox gifts were collected worldwide, with more than 8.8 million collected in the U.S. Let s help make this 25th year the best year ever! National Collection Week is November 12-19, The next Beacon will feature information on how to help participate in this ministry. Please have your child wear comfortable shoes and clothes they can play in. Kingdom Kids September 12th November 14th Please join us Wednesday evenings for this 8 week program focusing on Children s growth in Christ. Everything is BETTER WHEN YOU BRING YOUR FRIENDS Children will be learning about how God created the Earth!
