8 JUBILEE HARVEST FESTIVAL Our Harvest Festival for 2019 and the Annual family get together was held on 25th January. It was a blessed day, by the grace of our Almighty, with a number of events and a time of fellowship amongst our members. A large number of people participated in various events - in the food stalls, games and auction. The evening ended with a blessed cultural time with songs, dance and a drama by our Yuvajana Sakhyam titled Agnisakshi. All our area prayer groups and organisations participated in the Harvest Festival and the participation of majority of our members made this get together a blessed one. 8 The purpose of the Bible is simply to proclaim God s plan to save His children. - Max Lucado

9 TRINITY SUNDAY SCHOOL STAFF ORIENTATION & DHOW CRUISE The first staff orientation for the year 2019 was held at the Trinity Church Compound on the 5th of January followed by Dhow Cruise for the entire Sunday School staff. PARISH MISSION CONVENTION The Parish Mission Convention was held between the 19th to 21st of January with Rev. Sam T. Koshy as the main speaker. The Convention was attended by a large number of our congregation members and was blessed by meaningful messages from Achen. Praise God for a blessed time of meditation. FAREWELL Mr. Babu Varughese (V487) and family of Jebel Ali Free Zone prayer group, is leaving to settle back in Kerala after 15 years in the UAE. They will continue to worship at St. John's MTC Nedumkunnam Chelakkomp. Mr. Thomas Abraham K. (A094) and family of Al Shaab B prayer group, is leaving to settle back in Kerala after 40 years in the UAE. They will continue to worship at Ayroor Chayel MTC. On behalf of The Mar Thoma Parish, Dubai we thank the families for their fellowship over the last years and wish them God s blessing in their new place.
