Everything great has its price. Max Cleland, a military personnel, in his book strong in the broken places, tells us the entire, painful, struggling story of his war life. He lost both legs and an arm when a grenade exploded. A courageous voice deep within his spirit called him to greatness! You can turn your scar into star! You can become strong in the broken places. This unspeakable tragedy can be profitable to your soul. Because Max Cleland was moved by faith to take a positive attitude toward his crushing experience, he was able to look progressively toward his future. His hopes rather than his hurts, set his goals. Today let our hopes, not our hurts, set our goals! Begin by setting a sound goal that you can be sure to realize within the immediate future. With the enthusiasm that will come with this fresh victory, you will be ready to set a newer and higher goal. Remember anybody can have faith when the sun is shining but you have got enough faith to be positive even when you have good reasons to be negative! 5 6.00 PM Choir practice (Eng) Edavaka Mission Friday 6.00 PM Bible class at church Counseling Centre Swastham Counseling Centre of our parish was inaugurated on Sunday Sept. 22, Dr. Joseph George, Prof. and Head of the department of Counseling UTC, Bangalore was the chief guest. The focus of the centre is to provide individuals, couples, families and groups counseling for those who face emotional, psychological and marital problems. The centre aims to enable people to face the various challenges in life and to achieve their full potential by being positive and productive. Moreover, the centre plans to conduct regular workshops for the public to enhance mental health and stability. Regardless of religion, sex, age and status all can avail the service of this centre. The counseling centre will be functioning from Oct. 01, 2013 in our church premises. Clinical psychologist Dr. Mahima Sukhwal, would lead the centre. The gospel team of Mar Thoma Voluntary Evangelist Association (Thiruvalla) led by Very Rev. Dr. D. Philip and Evg. Babu Pullad will lead the meeting.
