4 6th Sunday of Easter 4 DAUGHTERS OF ST. ANN will meet Monday, May 7th in the Parish Hall at 12noon. This is our last meeting until September and will be a potluck with a fiesta theme. So bring out your Mexican recipes or try some new ones. To anyone that can t make it, have a great summer and see you in the Fall, September 10th. The JARROW CLUB will meet in the Parish Hall Monday, May 14th at 10 am. We will be playing Hoy Bingo again and playing for prizes. We will have a sign up sheet for our June 11th luncheon at Sommer s Place so that we will have a count for them. If a couple is civilly married or unmarried, they must make an appointment to meet with the Pastor before they can have their children baptized. 3. Children age 6 and under will receive the sacrament of Baptism. From 7 and above, they will receive all three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation). 4. Parents must bring a copy of their marriage certificate from the Church where they were married. 5. Godparents must be practicing Catholics. You may have a proxy for a godparent/s who may be unable to come. 6. To have your child baptized, contact Andrea at to schedule a Baptism Preparation Class. 7. It was then that I began to think more seriously about material possessions and death. Leaving the Church in your final will and testament is a Holy act. What greater testament could be made to the world, family and God than to say, I support my parish Church even in the end. Please consider leaving St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church in your Final Will and Testament. Young adults (ages 21-39) from all Montgomery and surrounding parishes are invited to join. A small group is a group of 8-12 people who meet regularly to grow in their faith and build community with other Catholic young adults. We will have a men's group, 2 women's groups, and a mixed group. Small groups first begin with a "Kickoff" on Thursday, May 17th at 6:30 PM in the Holy Spirit Parish Hall. This is when you'll meet your leader and other group members and get more details about your group, so it is very important that you are there. Please make sure you buy the book listed for your group. After the kickoff, you meet your group at their respective time and location.
