Parents must be married in the Catholic Church. 2. If a couple is civilly married or unmarried, they must make an appointment to meet with the Pastor before they can have their children baptized. 3. Children age 6 and under will receive the sacrament of Baptism. From 7 and above, they will receive all three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation). 4. Parents must bring a copy of their marriage certificate from the Church where they were married. 5. Godparents must be practicing Catholics. You may have a proxy for a godparent/s who may be unable to come. 6. To have your child baptized, contact Andrea at to schedule a Baptism Preparation Class. 7. And from that hour the disciple took her into his home (Jn 19:26-27) St. Bede Parish will celebrate the 26th World Day of the Sick on Sunday, February 11th at the 8am Mass. We will have a Mass for Our Lady of Lourdes with the Sacrament of Holy Anointing for all parishioners who are elderly, have been chronically ill, or are suffering from chronic depression, or are going to have surgery soon. We will anoint these parishioners at the 8am Mass after the homily. 26 Día Mundial del Enfermo Ahí tienes a tu hijo... Ahí tienes a tu madre. We need your help at the chapel, located at Our Lady, Queen of Mercy Church on Narrow Lane Road, to remain open around the clock, giving honor and glory to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Give Jesus one hour a week and He will pour out grace upon grace for you and your family and for the entire world!
