1 PHONE: (972) Rosa Elia Barbosa July 2, March 12, 2004 Ms. Rosa E. Barbosa, age 46, of McKinney, Texas, passed away March 12, 2004, in McKinney. She was born July 2, 1957, in McKinney to Alejandro and Flerida (Tamez) Barbosa. She was a clerk at Cliff s Check Cashing and of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her father, Alejandro Barbosa of Cadereyta, Jimenez, NL, Mexico; sister, Maria Cantrell and husband, John of McKinney; brother, Alex Barbosa and wife, Basilia of McKinney; nephews, Robert Barbosa, Lynard Barbosa, and Alex Barbosa, III, all of McKinney; niece, Sina Knipfer of Buford, Georgia; and nephew, John Cantrell, III of Richardson, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother, and by a nephew, Mark Barbosa. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Pastor Johnny Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. I am angry that someone could make you and Mark and the other boys suffer like you did. I don't like thinking of the horror, but I take comfort in knowing that your spirit was not broken. There were never disturbances or loud voices or music coming from her house. I admired and respected her so very much for sharing her home with Mark and Robert. SHE WAS INDEED A GOOD PERSON.
