1 PHONE: (972) Jay Carlley March 8, May 12, 2013 Jay Carlley, age 36, of McKinney, Texas passed away May 12, He was born March 8, 1977 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Eddie and Candace (Curry) Carlley. On November 16, 2002 he married Jenica Canniff in Richardson, Texas. Jay worked for Discount Tire for nineteen years and was currently employed as the manager of the Prosper store. Jay loved football, traveling and playing with his girls. Most importantly, Jay loved his family very much. He is survived by his wife, Jenica Carlley of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Taryn, Alaina, and Ellie Carlley, all of McKinney, Texas; father, Eddie Carlley and wife, Trish of McKinney, Texas; mother, Candy Willis and husband, Hoss of Denison, Texas; brother, Tom Carlley of McKinney, Texas; grandmother, Jean Curry of Wichita, Kansas; nieces, Catrina Hamilton, Kamryn Carlley, and Rilynn Carlley, all of Melissa, Texas; and a host of other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jay and Mary Carlley and his grandfather, Tom Curry. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2013, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas. Memorials Jay was close with my brother. I have fond memories of him and Tom. Jay, my brother and I snuck into Emmitt Smith's Birthday party my sophomore year in high school. We met many celebrities and had a blast. My heart and prayers are for his beautiful family.

2 TOREY T. LEWIS, MAY 22, 2013 Dear Jenica, I was standing in my co-worker's cube last week, when she was scrolling through Jay's memorial on her screen (turns out, she's an old coworker of yours.) I couldn't believe my eyes!!! I was so shocked and then overcome with great heartbreak and sadness for you, the girls and his entire family. I always thought very highly of you two and felt very appreciative of the kindness you extended me in the past. Jay was an awesome man, husband, father, son and brother...that was apparent to anyone. I am deeply sorry for your tragic loss. Please know that you, the girls, his parents, Tom & Carissa, Lynn and the kids are in my thoughts and prayers. Jay included me as family IMMEDIATELY. He/Jenica involved my children (even as ring bearer and flower girl in their wedding) and provided them with a father figure they lack, alway ALWAYS setting great examples of what a GOOD MAN was made of. Oh how he loved his family, all of them, ESPECIALLY Jenica and the girls. I loved to see the twinkle in his eye as he watched and/or interacted with them. I loved watching him model the perfect husband, father, friend, loved one --- ALWAYS thinking of the other guy rather than himself. I loved how he could be serious and give advice, yet laugh at the silliest of things... I loved that Jay had NO PROBLEM saying a simple "I love you too", and you knew he meant it! I will miss you DEEPLY Jay. You were the kind of man I hope and pray your neice, Katierose finds to eventually marry and your nephew, Will can eventyually grow to become. 5 Love is enduring. Love knows no boundaries. I can t image the depths of despair that you feel over the loss of your dear son Jay. My heart is heavy with the weight of sorrow I share in your loss. He was the apple of your eye, the man who was your little boy; all grown up, but still your baby. You loved him so much, all his life, and you will love him forever. He loved you and will love you, forever, too. How is that possible? That can t be true! But it is true, it is possible. And you can feel it if you believe for real, not just in your mind, but in your very being. You see, love is enduring, it knows no boundaries. Not distance, not circumstance, not even death. Love is vibration that lives in the soul. When we re near someone we love, the love vibrations in our souls dance in the space between our hearts. The vibrations connect and our souls unite the body is merely a vessel to carry the soul through its journey of earthly life. When a person leaves this life, the body joins the earth, the soul and all the vibrations of the soul live on. The vibrations find a place to rest in the hearts and minds of those it danced with in life. Jay will live forever in your heart and in the hearts of his beloved mother, brother, wife and children every soul he touched. Vibrations of the soul never cease to exist. Our souls entered our bodies as vibrations and are forever, eternally part of the collective, cosmic energy. The soul that lived on this earth as Jay, chose his place and time to manifest for a reason. To be Eddie and Candy s son, to be Tom s brother, Jenica s husband, and father to Tryn, Alaina and Elizabeth. The vibrations of Jay s love his JOY to the world will live forever as part of the energy of the universe that is eternal and never ending. One of the tires on the used car she had recently bought was looking flat. I suggested we stop by Discount Tire and have it checked. we walked in and I asked to see The manager, Jay Carlley. He came out quickly and I introduced myself and my daughter. I explained that I work with his step mother, Trish and that I think a lot of her and his dad.
