1 PHONE: (972) Brett Mack Adkins September 15, December 25, 2017 Brett Mack Adkins of Plano, Texas passed away on December 25, 2017 at the age of 17. He was born on September 15, 2000 to William Joseph and Vicki Evelyn (DeWitt) Adkins in Plano, Texas. Brett was a student at Plano West Senior High School in Plano. He was a member of Grace Outreach Center in Plano. Brett is survived by his parents, Bill & Vicki Adkins of Plano; sister, Bailee Adkins of Austin; grandparents, Al and Marian DeWitt of Garner, Iowa; aunts and uncles, Jon and Glynis DeWitt of Overland Park, Kansas, Janet and Stanton Shoemaker of Clinton, Missouri and Mark and Leslie Alford of Kansas City, Missouri; cousins, Connor DeWitt, Chelsea Harvey, Eric Shoemaker, Katelynne Clizer, Madison Shoemaker, Mark Alford, Jr., Spencer Alford and Alex Alford; and numerous other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy Mack Adkins and Carlene Adkins. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson- Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. A private funeral service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Brett Adkins Charitable Foundation at 5045 Royal Creek Lane, Plano, Texas Please no flowers!
