1 PHONE: (972) Joseph Randall Miles January 1, February 18, 2009 Joseph Randall Miles, age 26, of McKinney, Texas passed away February 18, He was born January 1, 1983 in McKinney, Texas to Joseph Carrol and Andrea Dee (McCullough) Miles. Bubba grew up in McKinney. He was full of life, energetic, inquisitive and had a love of God in his heart. Joseph was a free spirit and a beautiful person. He loved to fish with his uncle Mike and going to the Creek Place with his Dad. He also enjoyed hunting, shooting potato guns and inner tubing on the Guadalupe River. Joseph was a loving father and husband. He was a member of Dunn Memorial Baptist Church. He is survived by the mother of his children, Amber Grace Miles; sons, Seth Joseph and Adam Christopher Miles; father, Joseph Carrol Miles; mother, Andrea Miles; brother, Matt Miles; sisters, Dena Colette Skinner and husband, Greg; Sarah Nicole Dotter and husband, Josh; grandmothers, Carmel Evelyn Miles, Dolores O Neal and husband, Ron; nieces and nephews, Jacob, Joey, Tori, Keagan, Kade, Karson, Cooper and numerous other loving family members. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 22, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Pastor Brad Sloan officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Saturday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas. 2 I knew Joe from MHS. I will always remember how friendly Joe was when I would run into him around town. When we would bump into each other here or there he always had such a big grin on his face. Your smiling face, your never-ending stories, and your strong love for all of us are just a few of the wonderful memories I will carry. Although, you sure knew how to ruffle my feathers from time to time, but only the way a brother would do of course. I will cherish all of our times together. It was funny how Joe was always checking on how Matt was doing in my class! (Yes Matt, he really was checking up on you!) When Joe left Princeton, I was so sad; he was the kind of student any teacher wanted to keep in class. But I was lucky because of his friendship with my best friend s son, I got to keep tabs on Joe. He was always happy and every time I saw him I got a huge hug! I am going to miss those hugs and his sweet smile! I pray that we all cherish the love Joe brought to our lives and keep sharing the memories of how much he enriched our lives. Ms. B BETTY BENJAMIN, FEBRUARY 24, 2009 The year before we lost Scott, Joseph and Sarah and I were riding in the bed of my dad's truck to Goldthwaite and I told them I would be mad at them forever (for what, I don't recall). Just to drive that point home, I wrote it down in my notebook and showed it to them. I don't think I ever saw Little Joe again that he didn't remind me I had broken my promise. I take comfort in knowing that the last family gathering I attended was spent almost exclusively with Little Joe, talking about his kids. I had no idea that would be the last time I saw him, but I told him how special I have always thought he was and how much faith I had in him. I hope that his children will grow up knowing the extent of the

I haven't stopped thinking of you since I was told. I can still remember being a freshmen in high school and you being a junior, and you would drive me home from school everyday (even though I think you were a little embarrassed to be with a freshman). I remember that old blue explorer, gosh we had so much fun! Do you remember the time that we were driving on that old country road and like a million butterflies started flying all around us? I will always think of you, and laugh at the memories we shared, there are so many it's hard to pick sometimes. You will always be alive in my heart and I will always love you. 5 of theirs helped me do something and i took them to the dairy queen in princeton ( that is no longer ) and bought them all hamburgers and cokes. i remember joe being very well mannered and polite. he grew up so fast and made a very nice looking young man. he will be missed. may God be with his family in this great loss. i know how hard it is to lose a child, my son died when he was 37. just lean on the Everlasting Arm.
