1 PHONE: (972) Bryce Colin Blanton January 14, April 15, 2017 Bryce Colin Blanton, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, teacher, and friend to many, passed away from a seven year long journey with cancer on April 15, 2017 in Carrollton, Texas. Bryce was born January 14, 1974 to Ronald Lee and Jacquelyn Annette (Frazier) Blanton. Bryce leaves behind his wife, Anna of 21 years, and two children, Jake and Sarah; his mother Annette and her husband Bill; his brother, Brad; niece, Skye Blanton; nephew, Blake Blanton; and father and mother in law, Steve and Priscilla Long, as well as numerous friends and colleagues throughout his life. Bryce is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Lee Blanton; and grandmother, Betty Frazier. A Celebration of Life service will be held in his honor on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:00 am at Genesis Metro Church in Frisco, Texas. A TUTMA account has been set up for each of Bryce s children, Jake and Sarah. The family request that you, please consider a contribution in his memory to their future college expenses. 3 SHERRY, MORGAN AND KATIE REEVE, APRIL 22, 2017 Mr. Blanton was a good friend & an excellent Science teacher when I had him during my 6th grade Stafford Middle School. I knew him very well & he often visited McAlister's in Frisco when I worked there, which made me very happy to see him often. I'm definitely glad that I got to know Mr. Blanton & I will miss him forever. JACOB WIDICK, APRIL 22, 2017 Mr. Blanton was one of the best teachers I've ever had. Daily he was filled with joy and kindness and it radiated out of him. He always knew how to put a smile on his students face and how to make them laugh. He was a blessing to every student that crossed paths with him and is one of the reasons science is my favorite subject. RIP you will be missed. Today I passed by your old house where the basketball goal still stands and I thought of you. Although we haven't kept in touch I see what an amazing man you grew into and what a lovely family man you were. To his beloved family, I am so sorry for your loss. 5 Mr.Blanton was a friend to all his students and but he still kept us on task. We may have had some rough times with him but in the end he was a friend and a teacher to us all. 7 circumstances)! Our son Peyton will always remember the many parties and sleepovers that Bryce and Anna hosted in which they treated my son as one of their own. Bryce was always so kind, and never failed to ask how our other son was doing. It was obvious he loved children. We are so terribly saddened by his passing and we extend our sincere, heartfelt condolences to Anna, Jake, Sarah and his entire family. Our hearts break for you all. Rest peacefully Bryce, free from cancer, and in the arms of our Lord for eternity.
