Can you imagine people of this world being of one heart and mind as was the first community of believers? Today s First Letter of John seems to hold the key to how this can be accomplished. Keeping God s commandments and loving all of God s children seems to be the start of being of one heart and mind. We live in a world that stresses differences differences among religions, among races, between genders, and among economic classes. Special thanks to Marylou Sandoval, Gracie Casanova, Terri James, Gracie Acuna and everyone on the decorating committee, along with the many helpers who decorated our Church for Easter. Honoring Our Past... Building Our Future St. Leo the Great Open House An open house is scheduled for all interested in attending St. Leo the Great Catholic School. Dates: Thurs. ATTN: CONFIRMATION PARENTS AND STUDENTS The Sacrament of Confirmation Liturgy is right around the corner: April 30, Thursday 7pm at Mission San Jose Church. Please submit the documents required for your teen's sponsor as soon as possible. Without the proper documentation, the sponsor will not be able to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with your teen. Also, please submit the 25 Community Service hours as a mandatory requirement to complete the Sacrament of Confirmation. These hours must be completed by April 15, 2015 and this too is right around the corner. If you have any questions please me or call me. The women of Mission San Jose are collecting items to sell at our MissionFest Trinkets & Treasures Boutique booth. We are collecting the following New or Used items: Accessories Jewelry, hats, scarves, purses, belts Household Figurines, lamps, clocks, mirrors, pictures/frames Garden Bird houses, wind chimes, yard art, plants Religious Crosses, Scripture plaques, Angel items...
