We are very, very close to MEETING THE BUDGETED INCOME. Thank you for being faithful in your pledging stewardship. I am so very proud of our Redeemer family. God is blessing us.) December PLEDGE AND PLATE CONTRIBUTIONS/WEEK PLEDGE AND PLATE Total for December December 3 rd $5, $5, December 10 th $5, $11, December 17 th December 24 th Today Pastor Joy honored the past and present Senior Wardens with a wonderful summary presentation of their dedication, hard work and countless hours of time to complete their required duties. It was my great honor to be among the honorees of past Senior Wardens. They are Genny Pollard, Lois Bolter, Ginger Bolter, Mark Roberts, who has been there for Redeemer when Redeemer most needed him. I, Rick Daughenbaugh, had very, very big shoes to fill. We all have had our defining challenges and yet, somehow Redeemer came out better. Never doubt the power of prayer. We had many, many challenges this year. With Mark s help, I limped through the first few months and then started to understand the enormous responsibilities that go with the Senior Warden position. I thank Joy every day for the patience to let me learn how to be a leader. But most importantly, she taught me to listen to God for guidance.

6 Episcopal Church of the Redeemer mind). So...what if we try limiting access to the kitchen from 5-6:30PM on Wednesdays to people ages 15 and over? The younger folks can still help by serving at tables, but we will just pass the food through to them so they don't have to come into the kitchen. Does that sound doable...and safer? I know that this may hurt some feelings, but we will need to work hard to continue to include the younger kids in the effort. Can we try this approach this week and see how it works? Does anyone have any other/alternate suggestions? Hi Folks, I may do some work on the lima bean dish ahead of time, but we should be able to get the rest done by starting prep at 1PM on Wednesday. Desserts, servers and dishwashers needed, as usual. Several of us have discussed whether we want to make a few rules about children in the kitchen during café hours, based on the tragedy in the St. Vincent de Paul kitchen this morning. As most of you are aware, the kitchen can be extremely busy...and dangerous...while we are all rushing around to serve diners (for example, me hauling heavy pots of boiling hot pasta water from stove to sink was a potential disaster, not to mention burning people with hot pans from the oven, and knives that get dropped...all kinds of bad scenarios come to
