2 Latin Classes The Rectory Office will be closed On Monday, th Volunteers Needed For Childcare For FAMILIA Meetings For anyone who wishes to provide childcare for these meetings, (approximately 1 ½ hours for 2 Sundays per month) CAP Training will be necessary and financial remuneration for childcare services is available. Please contact Barbara in the Rectory Office or Julie at if you are interested. Bulletin Deadlines: To place an announcement in the Bulletin, or to update the Prayer List, please send an to: secretary@materecclesiae.org, or submit a Bulletin Request Form. To publicize an upcoming Parish event, please send in your information at least two weeks prior to the first bulletin date in which you would like your announcement to run. Bulletins have a week in lead time, so please anticipate your needs and get the announcements in on a timely basis. All Bulletin announcements must be in writing and are subject to the approval of the Rector. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Novella Children s Choir The Children s Choir will be starting up this season in November. Registrations can be found by the Music Room door. Schola Caritas Schola Caritas, a chant choir for gentlemen, is forming to sing twice each month for the Sunday 11:30 AM high Masses. Repertoire will include the ordinaries, Hymns, and some propers of the Mass. Please pick up a registration form by the Music Room. Enrollment includes an audition to determine voice part, reading and sight singing ability, and general music ability. Rehearsals will start at the beginning of November. Are you interested in learning Latin? Mater Ecclesiae now offers a Latin class based on scripture for beginners of all ages. This is the perfect opportunity for parishioners who never studied Latin in school to learn the classic language of the Mass. Classes are free of charge and will be nd th held every 2 and 4 Sunday from 10:15 to 11:15 AM. You will need a notebook and a pen. We look forward to seeing you there! We now have monthly classes to learn about Catholic Doctrine. The classes will meet on the third Monday of each month, 7-9 PM. The next meeting will be October 16 th. Next Choir Night Thursday, October 19 th at 7:00 pm CAP Sessions for October The Office of Safe Environment for Children, Youth and Adults has arranged several more CAP Sessions for October. The CAP (Child Abuse Prevention Program) sessions are part of the Diocese of Camden s program of prevention under the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. These sessions teach attendees the mechanics of reporting child physical and sexual abuse as well as bullying concepts and how to help children feel safe, strong and free. The Diocese of Camden requires all adults in regular contact with children to attend one of these sessions. Diocesan policy requires adults to attend once every five years. To attend a session, please call the Diocesan Office of Safe Environment at or ddiggons@camdendiocese.org to register at least five days before the date of the session.
