This is a high feast day in which every ChrisCan family is prayed for and their high vocacon is acknowledged and asserted again by the Church. As with the Holy Family, so every ChrisCan family is to be a model of faith, hope, and charity. It is called to be a place of prayer, mercy, and service to the poor. To all our families, we love you and pray for you as you seek to fulfill your blessed vocacon from the Lord! What a joy it is for us as a parish to have a first-class relic of Saint FausCna of the Divine Mercy! Please note the relic in the niche near the saint s statue! Please be sure to go over and visit the relic and say a few prayers to this powerful saint. Today aner the 11:00 AM, we will have our farewell celebracon for Molly Rusciolelli. As many of you know, Molly will be entering the convent of the Franciscan Daughters of Mary on January 1. It has been a joy for our parish to accompany Molly along her path of discernment and decision. She s a remarkable woman of faith and conviccon and will be missed by our parish. CongratulaCons, Molly! You will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Please note that January 1 is the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. This is also a Holy Day of ObligaCon. You ll see our schedule for January 1 in this bullecn. The holy day is a blessed opportunity to give 2019 to the Lord through his Blessed Mother. This Friday is our monthly of the Sacred Heart at 7:00 PM. All are invited. On Saturday at 11:00 AM, we ll have our monthly Healing with the AnoinCng of the Sick. Anyone in need of this sacrament is most welcome to come and parccipate in this. These First Friday and First Saturday celebracons are opportunices to go deeper into our faith.
