Registration Packets for New CCD students are available at the CCD Forms Display in the Narthex. Early Registration with Discounted Tuition ended May 31. Regular Registration is June 1 through July 31. Late Registration fees will apply beginning August 1 through August 31. Volunteers Needed for Summer Projects at Mater Ecclesiae Beginning on June 1 st, we will begin a series of projects at Mater Ecclesiae with the help of our parishioners. Some of the projects can only be completed by professionals, and we must hire and pay for their services. But many small jobs that need to be done only require a desire to help and the willingness to be of service! Please consider volunteering a few hours to help us complete our Summer Projects! 3 Save The Date: Honor of Our Lady s Assumption, Mater Ecclesiae Will Celebrate The 18th Annual Solemn High Mass of The Assumption In Thanksgiving for The Founding of Mater Ecclesiae Wednesday, August 15 7:00 PM The Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Celebrated by Father Robert C. Pasley, KCHS, Rector DIOCESAN MARIAN PILGRIMAGE Every other year, Catholics throughout the Diocese of Camden journey to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. All are welcome to join Bishop Dennis Sullivan for this Pilgrimage on Saturday, October 13, 2018 This year, pilgrims will be able to view the magnificent Trinity Dome Mosaic Which was only recently completed and blessed. Pilgrims will enjoy a Concert of Sacred Music, have the opportunity to go to Confession, And attend Mass celebrated by Bishop Sullivan in the Great Upper Church of the Basilica. Catholics from throughout the Diocese will participate in the Procession of Parishes, And join together in praying the Holy Rosary, As we honor the Blessed Virgin Mary and entrust our Special Intentions to her.

Volunteers Needed We need volunteers to help launder and iron the cassocks and surplices the week of August 5 th so that they are clean for the Assumption Mass at the Cathedral. If you would like to help, please call the Rectory Office: July is the Month of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ Blessed are they that wash their robes in the Blood of the Lamb: That they may have a right to the tree of life. Apocalypse 22, 14 Flower Offering Envelopes are available in the Narthex. If you would like to donate any amount towards the altar flowers for regular Sundays, please place the envelope in the collection basket on Sundays. Each month, the intentions on the envelopes will be remembered. To donate the flowers for special Holy Days, the cost is $50 per bouquet or vase, or $200 for the four bouquets (2 on altar, 1 for Blessed Mother, 1 for St. Joseph). The special Holy Days will be listed in the bulletin, like our Choral Masses.

Tuesday Night Confessions The Sacrament of Penance is available every Tuesday evening from 8 PM to 9 PM. Men s Schola The Schola Divinum Officium is open to men and boys (ages 14 and up) of the parish. No previous musical experience necessary. This second schola provides basic lessons in singing Gregorian chant and leads the singing at selected sung Masses during the year, the Office of Terce each Sunday, and other Divine Office services. Timber Wolves The Federation of North American Explorers, a Catholic faith based movement for boys and girls, ages 6-18, meets on Thursdays in Bishop DiMarzio Hall from 6:30-8:30 PM. Pro-Life Apostolate Meetings are on the third Thursday of each month, 7:30-9:00 PM. The Pro-Life Newsletter is published each month and is available in the Narthex and online at our Website Meetings are held on the 2 nd Monday of the month at 8:00 PM in the Knights Room. The Scriptural Rosary and Prayer for Vocations are said at 7:30 PM in the Church. New members are welcome. The Scriptural Rosary can be found on their website: discalced Carmelite Society of Mater Ecclesiae The Discalced Carmelite Society of Mater Ecclesiae is a Contemplative Third Order of the Discalced Carmelites. Our vocation is not a social one, but one of prayer. Our duty is to be Obedient to the Church and our Superiors. Meetings are open to Parishioners only who are 24 years of age and older or admitted by our Spiritual Director, Rev. Robert C. Pasley, KCHS. Meetings are the First Saturdays of the month and special Feast days. Formation is a journey lasting about 6 years. Our attire is an outward expression of our love for the Lord and shows how important He is to us. It is also a sign of our respect for the House of God. Therefore, one should always wear their Sunday Best to Mass: modesty, good taste and common sense should prevail. Accordingly, the following rules apply: NO SHORTS, EVER, FOR MEN, WOMEN OR CHILDREN. Women: No revealing clothing, low necklines, short skirts or bare midriffs. Please dress modestly with dignity and self-respect. We suggest that women wear a head covering. Men: No tattered, soiled work clothes, old jeans or gym clothes. Please wear business or business casual attire to set a good example for our young men and boys.
