Please feel free to come to the remaining sessions on Mondays at 6:30pm or Tuesdays at 1:30pm in the Church Library. Learn to forgive as God has forgiven us! Annulment Information Night Thursday, February 11 th 6:30pm Presentation Room Over the year, we have heard many tales about how the Annulment process works. Pope Francis instituted several changes on December 8, 2015, to streamline the process. On February 11 th, we will provide an overview of the new process for anyone wanting to better understand how this process works. This information night is not geared just for those in need of considering an Annulment for themselves, but maybe you have a friend or family member that might be thinking about starting an Annulment. Many times Catholics are confronted about the need for an Annulment and have a difficult time explaining to friends the how and why it is needed. By joining us for the evening, we hope to make it a little clearer as to the process and clear up stories that have developed over the years. We look forward to seeing you that evening. Please call Dana in the Church Office and reserve your spot, at ext Council of Catholic Women The CCW is collecting supplies greatly needed by the homeless. Please help by bringing socks, toiletries and bath towels to our Collection Bucket, located in the Church Hall connecting to the PACE Center, by the CCW Bulletin Board. Thanks for helping! The CCW is also collecting donations for Southwest Options for Women. Please drop off your Baby Shower donations in the Church Office through Friday, February 19 th. Thank you for your generosity!
5 February 7, 2016 Page 5 DISCIPLESHIP FAITH IN ACTION Stewardship Thought Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send? Who will go for us? Here I am, I said, send me! -Isaiah 6:8 Every day - in little ways and in big ways - God asks, Whom shall I send? Whether it is someone to take on a new ministry or just someone to open a door for a stranger, God constantly provides doors of opportunity. The next time you hear God calling, have the courage to walk through the door and say Here I am, Lord Catholic Services Appeal The 2016 Catholic Services Appeal has begun! In this Year of Mercy, we should remember Jesus taught us the Corporal Works of Mercy: feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, visit the sick, visit the imprisoned, and bury the dead. These Corporal Works of Mercy are precisely what the 17 Collective Ministries of the Archdiocese accomplish. Please begin to prayerfully consider your gift to the Catholic Services Appeal. Please visit CSAF s new website at to learn more about the over 200 programs of the Ministries and the many thousands in need who are served. Mercy Moments February 2016 Papal Intentions Universal: Pray that we may take good care of creation by cultivating and protecting it for future generations.
