Relationships Between ET s and Mayans Andy Lam
Evidence For Aliens Around the year 900 BC, a new civilization appeared in the jungles of what is modern day Guatemala. - For 2000 years, the Mayans built cities, created farming and trade and studies suggest that they at one point had about 22 million Mayans. - At one point, all of the Mayan population disappeared, cities were abandoned, and the language was lost. Evidence for extraterrestrial interference was emerged due to Mayan historical information and the mystery behind their sudden disappearance. In Mayan history, the rulers often claimed that they were descended from the stars. In the tomb of K inich Janaab Pakal, there is a depiction of a man sitting in a cockpit with what looks to be a oxygen mask, and levers in his hand. Disappearance of the Mayans are result of aliens.
Evidence for Aliens Pictures King Pakal can be seen to be holding lever-esqe handles, while looking up as if he were looking out the window of a spaceship. He seems to have a oxygen masked attached whilst have mechanical aspects to his seat. Mayans were extremely talented in designing architecture that were capable of manipulating the locations of stars and the sun to create images such as the one above about their Snake God. Almost too good for a ancient civilization ALIENS?
Debunking #1 - K inich Janaab Pakal in a Spaceship Image consists of cultural symbols of the ancient Mayans. The actual seat that the King is sitting in actually relates to one of the core beliefs of the Mayan, which is the World Tree. - The Mayan people believed there were three realms, and the World Tree spanned all three realms. The markings on the mural hold different symbols for different things. The position that the King lies in is not looking through telescope but rather his position represents the fact that he is being reborn as the Maize God. - Certain Mayan rulers were thought to take on the role of God-Kings with who affect the spirit world after death.
Debunking Cont. #1 - K inich Janaab Pakal in a Spaceship Symbols in red represent wealth and power. There are also marks with the sign for wood. Symbols in red are the symbol of Power for Mayan Kings. The World Tree (below) compared to the mural of King Pakal (above) which share similar attributes.
Debunking #2 - The rulers often claimed that they were descended from the stars. Archaeologists claim that the Mayan race originate from the ancient Olmec Civilization. - Olmec Civilization considered the forerunner of all subsequent Mesoamerican cultures which includes the Mayans. The religious beliefs of the Olmec Civilization hold particular reverence for places such as the sky, earth and the underworld. - Runs into parallel with Mayan culture for they believed in the three realms which were the heavens ( sky ), the human world ( earth ) and the underworld ( underworld ). Location of the Olmec Civilization
Debunked #3 - Disappearance of the Mayans are result of aliens. Mayan descendants did not completely disappear for they are scattered throughout Central America. New studies show that the Mayans burned and chopped many forests to clear land for agriculture. - This resulted in massive requirements for wood to fuel fires for their constructions. - With rapid deforestation, it brought forth a severe drought which would be responsible for the Mayan collapse. - With lack of forests, there were erosions and soil depletion. Due to lack of resources and water for agriculture, the Mayans were forced to abandon their cities which is why they are scattered throughout Central America today. Places that were abandoned due to deforestation.
Homework Question Why did conspiracy theorists believe that the mural of King Pakal depicted an image of a space astronaut wearing a oxygen mask and holding levers, and how does this relate to the beliefs of the Mayans?
