2 Opening remarks from the Baron and Baronessa Greetings unto all gentles. April was fun! The highlight of the month was the Southhampton Renaissance Fair demonstration. We would like to thank Heloise de Bruyeres for her efforts in coordinating all the moving parts. She did a wonderful job! For a lot of folks this was their first time working a demo. While we did a great job, we have done some learning and will now be able to get even better and look foreward to doing more demos in the future. Looking ahead, Crown Tournament is this coming week for anyone interested in attending. For the archers, On Target will be on the 14 th up in Lochmere. And at the end of the month there s Ruby Joust! That s always a fun event. And, don t forget We will be hosting Old School War Practice out at Silverleaf Estate in Clarksville on the following weekend. 3 Letter from the Chronicler Spring has sprung and there are plenty of events to attend and pictures to take! As of late we have had a member of the Barony take many pictures during multiple events, Joe St. Martin. Many thanks for capturing these pictures as well as filling out the appropriate paper work that gives me permission to use said photographs! We will be seeing a lot more pictures in the Newsletter from here on out! First Quarter reports for 2016 have been mailed. Financial policy updates have been signed and are on their way to the webminister for posting. Herald: No Report Knight Marshal: All who have been authorized in any martial discipline for at least a year are encouraged to become warranted marshals. Warranted Marshals - check the Kingdom Suspended Marshals list to make sure that you re not on it and update your information if you are on it. Minister of Arts & Sciences: The March schedule of activities is being worked on and will be publicized as soon as possible. Thanks to Cordell for hosting a Scriptorium night last month with 5 attendees. Thanks to Heather Hawkins for coordinating Sewing Circle at local libraries for the last couple months.
