3 T H E V I S I T O R S E P T E M B E R Page 3 September Mission Envelope - Chetek Food Shelf Our September mission envelope will be given to our local food shelf. Your funds will be used to help our brothers and sisters in need right here. The food shelf has been blessed with an opportunity to purchase food from the Feed My People food bank in Eau Claire. Many other opportunities are available to our food shelf extending each dollar further with programs such as Buckets for Hunger. Our gifts can stretch so much farther. What a blessing this is. Can you imagine not having your dollars stretch far enough to feed your family? Approximately households each month are struggling to put food on their table. Wow! That s a lot of families in need in the Chetek area. Please give generously to help those in need. Every dollar counts no matter how big or small. Together we can make a difference. Let s see how far our dollars can go. In addition, the food shelf is always in need of toilet paper, bath soap (bars) and laundry detergent. The food shelf has not been able to find a source where these items are discounted. So, if you can, please think about purchasing toilet paper, bar soap and laundry detergent. If you would like to give any of these, please leave them in the cart in the narthex. Choral Concert has been cancelled for Saturday, September 8th. Sorry for any inconvenience!
