Somtims it was a pictu of Jsus, o Samul, o Adam and Ev in th Gadn. I vaguly mmb h. Sh wo a hat. I mmb h dak clothing. I mmb h looking down at m as I lay flat on my back on my fam o in my cast. Only sh did not com vy wk. Whn I bcam a moth, my childn would bing thos sam pictus hom fom Sunday School. On of my sons savd his paps vy wk. H soon had a collction. It was only cntly that I mmbd that ibl Woman and h paps. I wish I could thank h fo caing fo th soul of this littl cippld gil. A IG ROOM WITH RIGHT LIGHTS THEN, ONE DAY, I REMEMER EING WHEELED INTO A LARGE ROOM WITH HUGE RIGHT LIGHTS ON THE CEILING. It was a hospital opating oom. Sinc that tim, I v had sval sugis, as wll as giving bith to fiv babis in such a lightd oom. (On was bon in th labo oom with th docto on his way.) Whnv I find myslf in an opating oom again as an adult, I mmb LAKESIDE HOSPITAL and that day long ago th day that changd my lif fom a compltly bd-iddn/whl chai individual to bcoming a nomal pson who could walk lik oth popl wll almost lik oth popl. In my adult lif, whnv I am whld into sugy, my mind flashs back to that day long ago whn I, as a child, had majo sugy. I was a littl gil about fiv yas old. It was thn that I had my hip opation. D. Habin was th sugon! Though I would not know him if I saw him, I will always b thankful to God fo him. H scapd all th dtioatd and disasd tubcula gms fom my lft hip bon joint. In so doing, h stiffnd my lft hip so it would not bnd. I wish I could giv you mdical tms to what was don to m that day, but I can t. All I know is that sugy was my scap fom bing a dfomd cippld pson fo th st of my lif. Wasn t God good to m?! MY PARENTS CONSENTED TO THE PROCEDURE I was told that th sugon did not know if this sugy would b succssful o not. If it did not wok, I would hav bn tibly cippld fo lif. My undstanding is that, pviously, only animals had had such sugy fo xpimntal puposs. My pants consntd to this pocdu. If it wokd, I would b abl to walk. Th disas would stop! I would hav a stiff hip and not b abl to do ctain things but I could walk and gt out of that bd without th disas stating up again. fo--vy tim thy took m off that fam and taction--th fv would stat again and th disas would pogss.
