3 Caring for our Neighbors During the month of May, we ll think of our far-away neighbors with cash gifts that help support global mission work. Checks may be made out to WELCA and ear marked Global Missions. Bring your gift to a Circle meeting or place your check/cash in the Sunday morning offering plate or deliver it to the Church office. The CART will be receiving food for the Nokomis Child Care Centers (crackers, cereals, baby food and juices). Thank you for your donations of supplies and cash for Personal Care Kits. On May 13 th, we will be shipping quilts and the Personal Care Kits to Lutheran World Relief - and this year we re going to use LWR s Quilt & Kit Tracker system to see where in the world our quilts and kits are delivered for use! Wondrous God, thank you for blessing us with hearts and minds to serve one another. Let us always be mindful that we love each other because you first loved us. We rejoice in that, by serving one another, we are able to show that love for each other and for you, Lord. We ask that you continue to bless us and strengthen us as we try to be more like you. Amen. 4 QUESTIONS? Please contact Kim Stromberg at or Our Sunday School Year is coming to a quick close! I can't believe its May! I remember our first day in September. This is a very rewarding position for me, I am very thankful for this opportunity!! My favorite part is watching the kids coming down the Sunday School stairwell with huge smiles and showing and telling their parents/grandparents what they made or talked about it. If you need a feel good moment just come and see for yourself! I thank the parents for making the effort each week getting your child to Sunday School, it shows them it is important to you as they grow and learn in faith as a parent and child and how rewarding to share scripture together is priceless. A giant THANKS to my Sunday School teachers! It is not possible without you! You share music, Bible stories, crafts, answer the unexpected, and sometimes just listen to what seems most important in that moment. Finally, to our Pont Family, your encouragement, donations of supplies and money is what makes the program work! Blessings to all!
