3 imercy: The Divine Hotspot A parish mission directed by Fr. Bill Garrott, OP ST. COLUMBA CHURCH, HOPEWELL JUNCTION NOVEMBER 5-6-7, :30 PM Monday Evening: Tuesday Evening: Wednesday Evening: imercy: The Father Blesses imercy: The Son Heals imercy: The Spirit Strengthens Through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Dominican Friars have been proclaiming the truth of God s Word for over 800 years in order to bring Catholics and those who have drifted from the Faith into a personal encounter with living Christ Who reveals the unconditional love of our heavenly Father. The imercy mission is a unique, grace-filled evangelical moment in the life of parish led by Dominican Friars which aims to help parishioners enter more deeply into the love of the Holy Trinity and experience God s merciful touch through the Sacraments. FORMAT: Monday evening s preaching focuses on the unconditional love of the Father and concludes with an invitation to anyone, especially families (intact, broken, troubled, struggling, separated by distance, etc.) to receive a special blessing with the Oil of St. Joseph from the Oratory of St. Joseph in Montreal Tuesday evening s preaching focuses on the remedy the Father provides for us in His Son Jesus Who sets us free from sin, enables us to forgive and gives meaning to our suffering. The evening concludes with an invitation for those in need of healing (physical, emotional, spiritual) to adore our Eucharistic Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Wednesday evening s preaching focuses on the power of the Holy Spirit which enables us to live the Christian life and propels us to be witnesses of Jesus Christ in the world. The evening concludes with a sending forth blessing utilizing a first class relic of St. John Paul II taken from his blood-soaked sash from the day he was shot. The imercy evening preaching starts at 7:30 PM but will be preceded by the praying of the Holy Rosary for anyone who wishes to come 20 minutes early. Confessions will be heard each evening after the preaching. imercy Preacher: Fr. William Bill Garrott, OP. Fr. Bill Garrott, OP was ordained in 1994 for the Dominicans (Order of Preachers).
