This collection provides services for immigrants, humanitarian aid in the wake of natural disasters, refuge for the displaced, and advocacy for peace and justice around the world. For his Eagle Project, he and his volunteers constructed a 12 raised bed vegetable garden on our property. Beginning this spring, students and parishioners will plant and tend vegetables that will be donated to our St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Steven also raised $1,800 to complete the project. COUPLES CELEBRATING 25 & 50 YEARS OF MARRIAGE Our Parish will be hosting a celebration for all couples celebrating their 25th & 50th Wedding Anniversaries this year. 7 TRI - PARISH NEWS SVDP EASTER FOOD BASKETS During this time of Lent, we are planning to provide Easter food baskets to approximately 150 families. A basket consists of the following items: a turkey or ham, sweet & white potatoes, fresh vegetables, salad mix, salad dressing, gravy, stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, rolls, butter, eggs, fruit, dessert, milk, beverages, coffee, tea and an aluminum roasting pan. The program will be a 4 week program for Kindergarten to 4th grades and a six week program for 5th through 8th grades. This year participants will have instruction on the track as well as in the field events: high jump, shot put, long jump and hurdles with experienced track and field coaches. The program will be held at the Our Lady of Lourdes High School track facility. Cost is $25/person. Registration forms and payment will be online at: Please Jill for questions at: Jill.Dennin-Philipbar@archny.org CYO Volleyball Clinics and League YOUTH 2000 NY will offer a retreat entitled, Fearless, at Holy Trinity Parish in Poughkeepsie the weekend of March 31-April 2 for High School age teens. The retreat will include the presence of priests and speakers such as Fr. Chris Argano, Fr. Anthony Mizzi-Gili, Seminarians of the Acrchidiocese, Bryan Mercier, and the Franciscan Friars and Sisters of the Renewal; music by Jess Nayden; and Mass with Bishop Peter Byrne. The retreat will have daily Mass, Adoration, a Eucharistic procession down to Vassar College, and will have entertainment for the teens. Clinic: designed to develop skills and introduce drills to 5th & 6th grade girls.
