The objective of these emblems is to help young boys discover the presence of God in their daily lives as members of their families and parishes, and to develop a positive self image through the contributions they can make. Earning the Light of Christ emblem are: Andrew Check and Justin Quinn. Earning the Parvuli Dei (Children of God) emblem are: Patrick Grady, Eric Darrow, Anthony Darrow, Matthew Abbruzzesse, Ryan Forrester & Sean Brennan. In addition, three Boy Scouts from troop 40, Kevin Alcoforado, Alex Fodera & Ryan Greco, will be receiving the Ad Altare Dei award at St. Patrick s Cathedral. To earn this prestigious emblem, these young men have successfully completed four months of rigorous study focused on the seven Sacraments. Congratulations to all! 4 LET'S GO PLAY IN THE SUN The Knights of Columbus John Paul II Assembly 2917 will be having a bus trip to Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in Wilkes-Barre Pa. The trip is on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 and the bus will leave the Knights Hall at 7:30 am sharp. The Knights hall is located at the corner of All Angels Hill Rd. & Route 82 behind the Mobil Gas Sta on.
