We re glad you ve joined us! THIS MORNING we celebrate Pentecost. We come with gratitude to God for sending us the gift of the Holy Spirit. THE OFFERING TODAY is for Special Missions through the giving of your Faith Promise pledges. These offerings go for the support of all the missionaries supported by our church both here at home and abroad. If you are not prepared to give your Faith Promise offerings today, you can do so any Sunday by simply putting the offering in an envelope and marking it as Faith Promise Offering. FELLOWSHIP Please join us after the morning service in the fellowship hall for cookies, punch or coffee, and a time to get to know each other! FOOD DRIVE The deacons are holding our bi-monthly food drive for the Headwaters Area Food Bank. Please bring your donations to the south foyer by next Sunday. Canned Soup, Fruit Cocktail/Mixed Fruit, Dry Beans, Rice, Canned Vegetables are all on their wish list. JR. HIGH YOUTH GROUP is meeting today at 1pm in the MEC for 9 square and volleyball. All kids entering 7th, 8th and 9th grade are welcome to attend. EET MEETING is scheduled to take place on Monday, May 21, at 7:00 p.m. CHILDREN 5 AND UNDER are invited to take a tot bag into church. They contain a stuffed animal, fruit snacks, a coloring page and colored pencils. They are located in the back of church under the counter in a silver container. Volunteers are especially needed in the evening. You will be blessed to worship with our retirement home members and they will be blessed and thankful that you came! There is a sign-up sheet on the table by the Fellowship Hall if you are willing to serve in this way. Thank you! PRO PRESENTER MEETING - If you are currently showing Pro Presenter for the service or would like to learn how, there will be a training meeting on May 22 at 3:30 in the sanctuary. PLANNING CENTER MEETING - If you are on the list for Planning Center and would like to learn how to use the site and access information you may need, join us on June 10 after the morning service. We will meet for a short time in rooms 1 and 2 downstairs. Bring your laptop if you have one. ATTENTION: ALL GRADUATES - If you are graduating from grade school, high school, or college this year, please enter your information on the sheets in the back of church or by the Fellowship Hall. We would like to include you in the next issue of the Belltower. Thank you! SUCCESS The new Love INC Clothes Closet donation box is a great success! Thank you for your generous donations. They are delivered weekly to the Belgrade shop. Thank you also to all those who made this drop-box possible. LOVE INC is offering a FREE summer class: Love Your Kitchen starts on June 19 through July 31. In this class you will learn about cooking and eating healthy on a budget. To register for this class or to volunteer as an ally (coach), help with childcare or provide needed ingredients, call Jane at or changeyourlife@loveincgc.org by June 5. Childcare and transportation are available. LINEN CLOSET The Love INC Linen Closet is in great need of Queen and Twin size sheet sets. Please bring any donations to the Love INC building. Any questions please call the Love INC office number at HOUSING NEEDED - Dear Manhattan CRC, Greetings from West Africa! We hope this finds you doing well in the grace of the Lord. As a family, we re excited as we re gearing up for a 6-month home service this year (Aug.-Feb.2019). On that end, we re working on logistical plans for our time in Montana. We are looking forward to being in the Gallatin Valley from mid-october through the end of February and we will be needing housing for our family during that time-frame. We are reaching out to see if you might be able to help us with finding temporary living arrangements. Regarding our specific needs, as a family of 6 we will need a minimum of 3 bedrooms, and we can work together with the owner to reach a fair rental agreement. On another note, we will spend a short 10 days in Montana from around August If you are aware of housing that might be available for that timeframe, we would be grateful! VIRTUAL DEMENTIA TOUR - Do you have a loved one that suffers from dementia? Walk in their shoes for an evening and experience what they experience on a Virtual Dementia Tour at the Churchill

5 Retirement Home on Thursday, May 6:30 PM. The Virtual Dementia Tour is a 20-minute experience; where caregivers actually go through a simulation of what it s like to live with Alzheimer s Disease. The Virtual Dementia Tour is a must for everyone caring for individuals suffering from any form or level of dementia. Jeremy from Highgate will be here to present the tour to interested individuals. MARK YOUR CALENDARS - The Churchill Garage Sales will be held on Saturday, June 30 from 8-1. If you live in the Churchill/ Amsterdam area and would like your street placed in the newspaper ad, please call or text by Sunday, June 24. SEEKING DONATIONS - The Churchill Retirement Home is seeking donations for their Annual Garage Sale to be held in conjunction with the other Churchill Garage Sales on Saturday, June 30 from 8-1. Please NO computers, tv s, clothing, shoes, luggage, couches or large appliances. Thank You! THE MANHATTAN CHRISTIAN SCHOOL FOUNDATION is seeking a Part-time Donor Relations Director. This is a new paid position that would involve one on one contacts with the greater Manhattan Christian School community of supporters to educate and encourage giving toward this lasting support of Christian Education.
