Special plans for Mission Kids and Children s Choirs: following your regularly scheduled activities on Wednesday afternoon, plan to stay for dinner and return to your Mission Kids classroom at 6:30 to make your wreath. We ask that a family member attend with each child. The dinner menu that night will be a choice of soups, salad, and pizza. Please call the church by Tuesday morning, Nov. 28, to make dinner reservations. Christmas Tour of Trees at First Baptist Church: Our church will be participating in the Mt. Airy Tour of Homes on Saturday, December 2, 11:00-5:00, and Sunday, December 3, 1:00-5:00. In addition to the sanctuary, there will be various themed trees displayed in the vestibule, breezeway, and Fireside Room. Note: If you or your group/committee are displaying a tree, it needs to be completed by Wednesday, November 29. If you have any questions, please call the office. Called Church Conference: Wednesday, December 6 We will vote to approve the following items: 2018 Budget Elect new members to the Pastor Search Committee - Richie Norris, Erin Stanley Elect new Chairperson for the Pastor Search Committee - Ben Cooke Toys for Tots Campaign: The Surry Detachment 1322 Marine Corps League has begun their Toys For Tots campaign. If you would like to participate in this project, please place new, unwrapped toys in the box located in the breezeway by December 8th. For monetary donations, make checks payable to Toys for Tots. CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!!! Sunday School Council would like to invite all classes to participate in a special Holiday Fellowship on Sunday, December 10, 9:15-10:00 Each class is requested to bring at least one plate of goodies to share!
