3 Welcoming Our New Pastors... We welcome Rev Derrick Lau and Rev Peter Koh who have joined the Faith family today! Rev Derrick Lau has just completed his sabbatical leave in He is pleased to be appointed as a pastor at Faith. He has been serving as a Methodist pastor since His previous appointments include Christ, Kampong Kapor, Pentecost, Toa Payoh and Methodist Church of the Incarnation. He serves as a Council member of The Methodist Missions Society (MMS) and Singapore Centre for Global Missions (SCGM). He is also the District Superintendent of TRAC District 2. He and his wife Soo Ping have 3 children and recently, God blessed them with their 1st grandson Josh. Rev Peter Koh has just completed his half year sabbatical leave in Dec He has been serving as a Methodist pastor since His appointments include Barker Road, Paya Lebar and Living Hope. His other appointments include BoDN, YMLC, TRAC LEAD House of Prayer Everywhere and TRAC LEAD Prophetic Prayer Ministry between He and his wife Jenny have two grown-up children, Paul Enoch and Josephine. His wife is a pharmacist in St Luke s Hospital. 6 BAPTISM & MEMBERSHIP COURSE The Baptism & Membership Course is for persons intending to be baptised and initiated into membership in our church. The enhanced curriculum will be taught over five sessions on Sunday afternoons in We will have two runs : A) Feb - Apr 2017 with baptism (by immersion in the East Coast Park) on Resurrection Sunday B) Oct - Dec 2017 with baptism (by sprinkling only) on Christmas Day. Membership candidates must have been attending Faith s weekly celebration services regularly and be attending a registered Faith Small Group for at least 6 months, and be serving in a church ministry. If you are not already serving, we can help link you up with a suitable ministry. Membership is open to all nationalities. For infants and children below 16 years old, the parents can sign them up for baptism only. At least one of the parents should be a member of Faith Methodist Church. Course Dates : 12 Feb - 9 Apr 2017 Time : 2 pm 5 pm Venue : Wesley Hall (Attic Level) Course Fee : $30 (working adults) $10 (non-working, retirees and students) Payment is only required upon confirmation of registration.
