Eastertide begins on Easter Sunday and Christ the living God is emphasized. It is a season of celebration, revolving around the resurrection and ascension of Christ. Ascension Day is 40 days after Easter. The liturgical colour of this season is Purple, symbolising purity and celebration. Thus the colour of our Bulletin. JOB VACANCY FOR PASTORAL TEAM ANG MO KIO METHODIST CHURCH Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church (TRAC) invites applications for the position of Pastoral Team Member. The successful candidate will provide support in delivering and executing activities related to the Cell Group Ministry. (A) (B) Job Scope & Responsibilities:- 1. Provide support and organise activities with Pastors &/or other Pastoral Team Members within the assigned functional areas such as cell group ministry, pastoral care, hospital visitation, etc. Requirements:- 1. Compassionate, with a heart to serve and liaise with people. 2. A team player with good interpersonal & communication skills. 3. Meticulous, independent and able to work with minimum supervision. 4. Those with GCE O/N/A level and Diploma, must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Theological Training will be an advantage. Preferably a Christian. MARRIAGE PREPARATION COURSE 2017 The inaugural Alpha Marriage Preparation Course - a requirement if you are an engaged couple who would like your wedding to be solemnised by our Pastors in late 2017 or will be conducted in August-September Details are as follows:- Venue: Time: Fees: AMKMC premises (King David Room & Amstutz Hall) 9.00am-4.00pm over 2 Saturdays - 19 August & 2 September $50/- per couple for workbooks, lunches & tea breaks (to be paid upon course commencement only) The Alpha Marriage Preparation Course is a DVD-based series facilitated by Nicky and Sila Lee, co-authors of The Marriage Book and church leaders at Holy Trinity Brompton, London.
