Reflective Question Think of one wonder that God has shown / is showing you in an area of your life. Why do you think God is showing this particular wonder to you? Prayer Lord our God, your wonder is not only found in the spectacular and miraculous, but even among the easily missed things or people in our daily lives. Help us to be more aware of your grace in wonder, so that we can tell to others of your love for all. Amen. Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise the Lord, in the heights! People Praise the Lord, all his angels, praise the Lord, all his hosts! Leader Praise the Lord, sun and moon, praise the Lord, all shining stars! People Praise the Lord, highest heavens, and all waters above the heavens! Leader Let them praise the name of the Lord, who commanded and they were created, People who established them for ever and ever, and fixed their bounds which cannot be passed. Leader Praise the Lord from the earth, sea monsters and all deeps, People fire and hail, snow and smoke, stormy wind fulfilling God s command! (Psalm 100:1, 4) Usually the congregation is given a specific time period, with a common theme of petition or supplication. Then all pray aloud at the same time in the power of the Spirit. (United Methodist Book of Worship 1992, pg 446) PRAYER SILENT & INTERCESSORY PRAYER But the LORD is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before him. (Habakkuk 2:20) TIME FOR WATCHING THE LORD I will stand at my watch; I will look to see what he will say to me. (Habakkuk 2:1) What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church. (1 Corinthians 14:26)
