Faith 52 nd Anniversary Family Conference & Service Sat, 14 Jul, 9am-12.30pm, Sanctuary (L1) & Worship Hall (L4) This year, we will celebrate our 52 nd Anniversary with an Anniversary Family Conference & Service on Saturday, 14 July! Bishop Emeritus Dr Robert Solomon will be speaking on family-related topics at two plenary sessions. A children s programme will also be available for 5 to 12 year-olds. Let us come together as a Faith church family to learn and give thanks to our Father for His manifold blessings on our church! Do note that due to the Anniversary Family Conference, there will be NO Worship Services on Sunday, 15 July Opportunities To Serve & Discover Your Ministry Fit! Want to fulfil your destiny? Come and serve - we want YOU! Look through the various ministry opportunities available at faithmc.sg/serve, or pick up a brochure at the Info Counter. Training will be provided! If you're unsure which ministry could be a right fit for you, schedule a Discover Your S.H.A.P.E Class to find out! This class includes a self-assessment to discover your S.H.A.P.E (Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experience) to enable you to serve at your best potential. It also explores the biblical and theological foundation of stewardship, spiritual gifts as well as serving in ministry in our church, community and the regions beyond. Discover Your S.H.A.P.E can be scheduled at a time most convenient for you, and can be taken as a Small Group or by individuals. Kairos Course (Jul-Aug 2018) When: Where: Fee: 24 & 31 July and 7 August (Tuesdays), 7-10pm and 28 July and 4 & 11 August (Saturdays), 9am-5pm Faith Methodist Church $20/pax for Faith members or $70/pax for non-members Kairos is a 9-session interactive study that explores the purpose and plan of God from Genesis till the end of the age. Solemn Assembly 2018 Wed, 11 Jul, 8-10pm, Aldersgate Methodist Church (98 Dover Road S139647) In conjunction with Love Singapore s annual 40.Day prayer movement, there will be 40 Days of Solemn Assemblies occurring simultaneously from 1 July to 9 August across our city, anchored by participating Host Churches in four regions Central, North, East, and West. Faith will be a participating Host Church of the Solemn Assembly at Aldersgate Methodist Church on Wednesday, 11 July. All are encouraged to attend this Solemn Assembly to pray together for ourselves and our nation. Please note there will be no House Of Prayer at Faith on that day. Solemn Assemblies are a time for us to seek the Lord with one heart, soul, mind and purpose: 1) to return to God in repentance for personal, corporate and national sins; 2) to consecrate ourselves to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; 3) to cry out to God for the salvation of the 80% unsaved in our land; and 4) to set apart this, the next, and every generation to fulfil Singapore s destiny as the Antioch of Asia. 6. Working Adults Support Session Tue, 3 Jul, pm, Koinonia 3 (L4) Facing challenges in your workplace? Need someone to pray and share your problems with? We provide working adults with a support session every first Tuesday of the month! 7. TRAC Board Of Seniors Ministry Events i) Prayer Services 24 Jul, 28 Aug, 23 Oct & 27 Nov (Tuesdays), pm, Charis Hall (L4) The TRAC BOSM Prayer Service is a new monthly initiative for all senior members of TRAC churches, as a time of encountering God through prayer, and learning simple strategies for developing a powerful prayer life. There will also be a time of prayer for one another, the church and the nation. The speaker for the first session (24 Jul) is Rev Irene Thung, Director of TRAC Seniors Ministry. Come with anticipation, expectancy and the love of God! No registration is required. ii) Worship Services 15 Aug, 19 Sep, 31 Oct & 14 Nov, (Wednesdays) pm, Worship Hall (L4) The TRAC BOSM Worship Service is a monthly weekday worship service for all senior members of TRAC churches. This weekday service is meant to complement regular Sunday services as another opportunity to worship the Lord, to invite prebelieving friends to church, and to fellowship with likeminded people in God s family. The speaker for the first session (15 Aug) is TRAC President Rev Dr Gordon Wong. No registration is required. HIGHLIGHTS AT FAITH 2

Joint Memorial Service Sat, 25 Aug, 4pm, Sanctuary (L1) All family members are invited to a Memorial Service by the Garden Of Eternal Peace Columbarium in memory of loved ones who have passed on. Refreshments will be served after the service. To facilitate our catering and logistics, please register your attendance at the Info Counter. Today s Second Offering Brigade Ministries The common mission of the Boys' & Girls' Brigades is to help youths develop to their fullest potential, based on Christian values, equipped with leadership skills and challenged to serve at home, in the local community and overseas. 2. No Worship Services On 15 July Please note that due to our 52 nd Anniversary Family Conference & Service, there will be NO Worship Services at both our Commonwealth and ACJC premises on Sunday, 15 July.
